Does New York only have MSG? Are there any other's places Pearl Jam can play at?
Izod (formerly Continental Airlines) Arena is so close you can see the NYC skyline from.
Nassau Coliseum is about 30 miles east of NYC.
Jones Beach Amphitheater (summer only) is also about 30 miles east of NYC.
...I think that's it as far as large venues that PJ is likely to play.
I would love to see Pearl Jam @ Jones Beach Amphitheater. The venu who experienced It's Ok for the very first time.
I think it was the 2nd or 3rd time they played it, could be wrong, but the jones beach version obviously is on tb2000. and jones beach really is an amazing venue, and i live 4 minutes away so it would be perfect

MSG --- is not a Live Nation venue. It is possible they will be selling the tix but MSG never has anything to do with Live Nation. Most arenas of that kind do not but MSG specifically. Just saying.....
They merged early this year so... erroneous on both counts!!!

I heard they are playing 4 nights at the spectrum in october..... anyone going? Why can't people just be happy with the present.
They also played MSG twice in 2008. People should be happy with the past as well.

I thought MSG was a TM venue? A TM stronghold for that matter. Perhaps LN is promoting?

Live Nation is first and foremost a promoter. They will put shows in a TM venue as they have for years.
The price of having multiple events in a venue become smaller after the first night because they don't have to pay the stagehands and loaders for a 2nd, 3rd and 4th load-in. Same with expenses for load-out. They're paying IATSE, IBEW, etc during the show but to play just one night would incur more per-day expenses than multiple nights.

I just can't imagine a booking almost a year in advance, when PJ has booked other shows there and canceled them several time just months before them. It just defies how things like this work, especially how PJ has booked there in the past.
