    I don't really care if milk is bad for me. IMO milk is second only to beer as the best drink.

    So sorry for your little boy and for your pocketbook. It is normal for some kids to get cavities and it can be caused by letting them take a bottle filled with milk or juice to bed.

    None of my sons ever drank cows milk, other then in the occasional bowl of cereal. It isn't necessary for good health. We are the only mammal species that continues to drink milk past weaning age. Once breast feeding is done, it is best to give your kids water only. They are better off taking calories in food vs. liquids. All my boys are healthy, very thin and now taller then any other men in both our families.
