PJ songs you dislike...?

just wondering what some of yours are? I kow the lists will vary and I'm not trying to start shit just curious!Some songs I cant get into... some of it is the filler, some are "real" songs (covers too)... my list is

    Cropduster - so bad i dont remember listening to it lately
    Force of Nature - "One man stands alone..." Ugh, terrible!!! "A beacon on dry land"...OMG, its CRAP!

    That's really it though. I love everything else, including wierd ones like Aya Davanita, Mankind, and Leatherman is just pure road fun to me.

    I'm not a fan of threads like this. Why you ask? Cause this is suppose to be a FAN FORUM. Yeah there are a few PJ songs I dislike but it won't help me sleep better knowing others feel te same way. Honestly who cares.

    There are some that I don't care for but here are the ones that I actually dislike to the point that I skip over and am embarrased to play in front of anyone:

    Looking at it another way, they have recorded hundreds of songs when you consider the albums, xmas singles, soundtracks, b-sides, and live covers. And I could only come up with 4 that I really dislike. That's pretty damn good for a band to hit the nail on the head on > 100 songs.

    I think I might be the only person on here that doesnt "get" the song Down. I've heard it live, twice, and given it chances on Lost Dogs, boots, etc...just dont get it. Its utterly forgettable.

    That's it really, there are some i'm not mad about, but usually their songs have a lyric/guitar hook/bass line or something in there to catch my attention.

    Ok, I've seen some other Deep-hate on this board, and I just don't get it! Obviously, everyone has the right to their opinion, but I just can't imagine why anyone would not like this song.

    I also love GG, and I think this is the first time I've seen it on a "dislike" list. ;)

    I dunno if there's a PJ song that I NEVER listen to. I pretty well just listen to whole albums at a time.

    I have often wondered why people here were so down on "Riot Act." I figured it was because it gets a little spotty at the end with "Bushleaguer" and "Help Help." Little did I realize that there was so much bad feeling for "Cropduster" and "Ghost." I love those two songs. "Ghost" is one of the most propulsive, muscular songs Pearl Jam has ever recorded.

    Now, to the question at hand. I will only consider songs off the studio albums; no B-sides or covers. I'm also leaving out the obvious, the tracks that are not fully realized "traditional" songs ("Bugs"; "Hey Foxymop..."; "I'm Open"; etc.):

    "Habit"
    "Lukin"
    "Rival"
    "Mankind"
    "Help Help"
    "Bushleaguer"
    "Pilate" (though it has a lovely bridge)

    The only albums from which no song was even considered for this list were "Ten," "Pearl Jam" and "Backspacer."

    You're insane! Force of Nature is an incredible song. Cropduster is good, too.

    I think Cropduster is pretty good. The most musically interesting rock song on RA. It suffers, just like every other song, from Ed's performance. Live, it rocked my shit on 03.

    I love the people who get all bent out of shape when you admit you don't like a particular song or album. I actually find threads like this interesting. Hell, the one I saw about "DTE" being too slow on the album is great. I always thought that same thing and find it funny others felt the same way.

    Never 'got' Bugs, so was relieved someone else mentioned it.

    Embarassingly don't really like EV's singing on DTE, love the music, but not him singing :oops: . However really enjoyed it live. :D

    Funny there are some songs I really like on other peoples lists, horses for courses, I guess.
