Very unique and very Backspace set. I kind of like it. Though I've never been a fan of Driven to Tears.

This was the taping of the ACL TV show to be aired on PBS in November. They play the festival itself tonight.

Don't know what the bands plans are with this show, but many artists have ultimately made dvds available of their performance. I'd like to see them do that and perhaps get the proceeds out to the veterans organization they supported at this show.
His eminence has yet to show.

  • looking at some of those pics... were these people actually present for the taping of the show, or was this a simulcast?

    edit:
ok, from lance's seats i saw it was actual studio... but there was another shot earlier in the thread where there was a picture of a screen...was there simulcast as well???

I'm confused. Have you people never heard of Austin City Limits (the show) before? It's only been airing on PBS since the invention of television.

I was a communications major at UT. So, basically Pearl Jam just taped a show in the same complex where I had 80 percent of all my classes. That weirds me out (in a good way, I guess).

There is the Austin City Limits Festival which Pearl Jam plays on Sunday.

There is also the Austin City Limits Television show (i.e. Jools Holland type show) which Pearl Jam played Saturday. This will air on PBS in November. The exact date escapes me.
