Not today, but I got two unexpected refund checks in the mail yesterday.

Have you ever actually received a check/prepaid card from a mail-in rebate... or do you believe it's just a marketing ploy to get people to buy shit?

I've never not got one that I sent in for.

What really confused me was the time Best Buy sent me a $25 gift card for no apparent reason. I had bought a new phone or something and a couple weeks later got a $25 "thank you" gift card unexpectedly.

Have you ever written to complain about a product or service to a retailer?

  • Yes, my mom had gotten me a kitchen utensil with a "lifetime guarantee" and it broke. Within a week. I emailed, got a new one, and the replacement broke within a week as well.

Have you ever avoided a store because of bad customer service experiences?

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I don't do Yelp or any of those services, but I have been known to craft an email for crap service or crap product.

    Are you crafty?

Yes, unfortunately it's hard to go far back in Ireland as a lot of our records were destroyed during the War of Independence and Civil War

Have you done yours and how far back did you get?

No. My mom's family has been in the US for hundreds of years, my dad's parents came from Mexico. I really hated what Donald Trump said recently. It made me angry!

How do you feel about immigration?

Well, definitely not what Trump believes, but then again that would apply to almost any topic.

That's a tough one and depends on my mood for sure, but to get my money's worth, I guess I'll say "Thick as a Brick" by Jethro Tull.

Do you like that tune, or do you really not mind if you sit that one out?
