No. Only tank tops I have are basketball jerseys I still have from a rec league a long time ago (and don't really fit that well -- haven't got a clue why I've kept them).

Do you wear sunglasses whenever you're outside?

Have you ever had something go wrong with fireworks?

Yup. Once had a hundred shot box of something or anothers flip and start shooting out at all of us. We had to run. People were diving into truck beds and behind barrels. It took a few for the entire box to be spent. In the end, we all ended up coming out okay.

If you put on your own fireworks display, how long does the display last?

We haven't been ones to buy a bunch of fireworks, but I've been to parties where the fireworks last at least 3 hours.

Is there anything special you make to eat for the 4th?

No, I don't really have an artistic bone in my body.

Do you prefer 2D art work (paintings, drawings, etc.) or 3D (sculpture, etc.)?

I like everything but I would have to say I lean more towards 2D...

No. I can write. I'm the artist you asked about up above.

Is there something that you really wished that you could do that you are really rather dreadful at? (Dancing would be mine. I can't dance. It's sad.)

Sing...I would give anything to be able to sing....

Is there something that you're dreadful at but you don't care and do it anyway, if so, what?

I am apparently dreadful at gardening; I do care but I do it anyway in the hope that eventually I will get better and my garden will no longer be pest central for the whole city.

(and I also really wish I could sing. Most of my family can but I am missing that gene).

What pests around your home annoy you the most?

No, too much work. Otherwise I would.

Do you think it's stupid they pulled all reruns of Dukes of Hazard because if the confederate flag ban?

Yup. Frankly I think the ban has gone too far in general. I don't like racists, I don't like slavery, but I am a big fan of the first amendment, even when I don't agree with the hate speech I think it ought to be allowed to be expressed. That extends to the confederate flag.

Have you ever noticed the soundtrack to a tv show or movie is a big influence on the scenes?

If you mean do I think there are materials on other planets that we don't yet know about, then likely yes.

Do you think that humans will travel to another planet within the next 100 years?

Why avoid it? Embrace it! Unless, of course, you're already taken. In which case, just remind yourself you're already taken and that it's not nice to cheat.

    Is it raining right now?
  • oftenreadingoftenreading Posts: 12,844
No, and we desperately need it to rain. Forest fires all over our province are causing a blanket of smoke which leads to an eerie glow.

Are there any forest fires burning near you?
