LH225964 wrote:We were in the 20th row seats 5-6....first time using 10c tickets...very pleased...THANK YOU! This was our third concert of the tour (after Sea 1 & 2). It was an incredible show...RM w/BH, In Hiding and a little John Doe too...WOW! The vibe was definitely different than Mon and Tues, but really, really great just the same. We met a fun Dad and son from the area...in seats 19th row seats 5-6...the first concert they've attended together. The son, Keenan, is 16 and is studying guitar...totally stoked to be there and watch Mike. The Dad was awesome...a police officer that helped with a situation when some lame-ass tried to take another neighbor's seat when he stepped out for a beer (what's fn up with that?)...and could fly the middle fingers when needed in Not 4 You. As we were totally rockin out, it was sweet to see them high-five and give each other hugs throughout the show...really touching stuff! During Porch the Dad offered me his shoulders...and for a moment, I had the best seat in the house...MINDBLOWING!!! I think I was still in la-la land at the end of the show, because I didn't ask for their contact info...so if this is you...please contact me....trust me, I have security questions. Overall, at the three shows so far, the people we have met have been so kind, friendly and genuine...it truly restores one's faith in the whole human race.
Other info:
It was our first time to the Clark Kent Amphitheater...well, I think it resembled a prison yard...or a place to keep livestock during inclement weather...we also had people going in and out of our aisle CONSTANTLY...even during Y. Led...guess they didn't realize that alcohol is available outside the amphitheater and in their hometowns too. The "quick n easy" shuttle system left something to be desired as well....the only reason I'd go back there is for PJ...last night, they were "classin' up the joint".
I remember you! I was in sec 102, row U, seats 1-2, just adjacent to you. I remember talking to the father-son combo too, but didn't get their contact info. The people going in and out of the rows (my row too) were constant it seems. Probably the same in every row. Wonder if they had any time to view the awesome show? I had to come down from Alaska, so I wasn't about to leave the floor and those awesome seats. I recall you guys too...hat and red hair? The best I can describe Porch is I saw a sea of hands before me and I felt as if I was flying...and this is from someone who prefers concerts sober! It was truly amazing! That image will be with me forever. (In retrospect, a much better experience than the crowd surfing I did in the early 90's!!!)0 -

OK, now that my ears have stopped ringing and had some time to reflect on one of the greatest PJ shows I have witnessed out of 30, I have three acknowledgements and one minor bitch!
Thank you so much to the 10c for the wonderful seats (aisle) for my son and me. His first rock concert was a blast. He wanted to hear: Gonna see my friend, the Fixer, and Yellow Ledbetter: trifecta!
Thanks to everyone in and around our section (101 rows 8-11) who were very supportive and accepting to see a new generation of fan(s). Pearl Jam fans are first class!
Overall I was very impressed with the job that the security staff did with keeping the aisle clear for most of the night. It's so annoying to see all the people trying to sneak up to the front and then act so stupid when they get questioned.
Thanks to the lead security person who invited my son to view the show from the front rail! I have never seen such a cool gesture and what an experience for my son! I thought that was cool!
The only minor bitch was the cluster-f*#k of getting out of the parking lot. I actually shut off the motor and took a short nap, only to wake up and find that nothing had changed or moved!
Good Times!
I would post some of my pictures but I don't know how???"Have we got a show for you?? No, it's a question!" EV 5/12/220 -
I was a couple of rows behind you. Saw them taking you guys up to the barrier but thought they'd let you stay there longer. I wanted to bring my son who must be about the same age but couldn't get him interested.feeder wrote:OK, now that my ears have stopped ringing and had some time to reflect on one of the greatest PJ shows I have witnessed out of 30, I have three acknowledgements and one minor bitch!

Show was awesome. My guest was a first timer also and he said it was one of the best experiences of his life.
Got to meet a few other fanclubbers at Jollies before the show and had a great time there also.#FHP0 -
Hello Administrator:
Call us crazy but both my girlfriend and I swear we heard "Better Man" during the Clark County Amphitheater show on September 26th. Is it possible the band snuck it in but it wasn't on the planned/written down set list?
Just curious (and hoping not to be crazy).scarletgraysea

Congratulations - you're crazy! Welcome to the Club!

Were you in section 102?
-Yes-
Sorry about that. We were in section 102, seats 11-12. I'm 99% sure it was me, trying to babysit my drunk friend. We left during Y. Led because I wanted to get him out of there. It had nothing to do with getting alcohol. Thanks for understanding.
Yes, I believe it was you and your friend too. Your friend owes you BIG TIME! Maybe a trip to a South American leg concert would be proper atonement!0 -
Absolutely! PM if you still have it. Yeah, but this time, he'll have to look out for me! I'm really sorry. I went there for a good time, and he partook in one too many $8.00 red wine glasses. Sheesh.

SebastianB wrote:The Portland show, as most other have said, was tremendous. Golden State and RM were standouts for their guest stars, but I don't think I'll ever forget this version of Black, with Mike adding to the pain of the lyrics by playing high up on the strings, by the tuning pegs. just perfect. i'll shiver each time i listen to the boot, without a doubt.
personally, it's been 14 years since I was in the first row for a show (last time was Soldier Field in 1995) and it was worth the wait. I was in Row C (which counted as front row because of the way the seats were arranged and we could go up to the railing) over on Stone's side. During Ben Harper, our little section was rocking out - especially for the last half of his set - and we discussed amongst ourselves that our goal was to make Stone notice that we rocked harder than anyone else in the ampitheater. Not sure if we actually did (sure felt like it, but who can say, right?
, but we managed, finally, during the second encore, get stone to smile at us. is that a victory or what?
what really made the night, aside from the music, which sounded just wonderful (amongst the waves is quickly becoming a fave) were the people we got to meet. to podcaster donnie, teacher marsha, superfans selina and megan, the woman in the jake shimabukuro shirt, thanks for adding to the night and being good concert neighbors. to the drunk guy who kept shouting during the show "is rock dead?" and forming a one-man mosh pit, well, i'm glad you enjoyed yourself but next time there's no need to punch.
to everyone else, enjoy the upcoming shows and we'll rock out together in philly.
I was right behind you in row D, on the inside aisle. I think I saw that one-man mosh pit almost take out a security guard. He was almost booted, but he begged and the guy let him stay, he was on the rail right?
By far the best of the three I have made it too. Energy was electric the whole show. My apologies to anyone in my section if I bumped you, or blocked your view with my camera, I don't usually do that many pics, but I also don't usually sit in row 3 so what are ya gonna do? It was a welcome home show for my buddy who moved away from WA to CA years ago and finally moved back. SO glad he could come. Oh and thanks to the guys behind me at the end of the show who got my back when I stood on my chair to take a couple of pics. The whole aisle got flooded and my clear view of the stage evaporated in about 3 seconds! Thanks guys!0 -
This was such an awesome show. The whole band was full of energy and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Inside Job and Black were especially good, as were the new songs. It was a great night!

Yeah, he was getting on the security guy's nerves, that's for sure. Still, it wasn't enough to ruin a good show

That was the best show I've ever seen! 10C tickets 19th row center. The set list was ridiculously awesome. Keep it going guys!0
