Of course, the only thing that really delayed Kanye's set was his huge ego. He wouldn't go on until every other act stopped playing since he mistakenly believed he was a headliner for the festival.

that gold digger song was a hoot, there's no denying that took a genius to write those lyrics.

i've always wondered about the annoucement that Ed talked about near the end of the bonnarroo set. he said the bonnaroo people had an annoucement for him ed to read, then he said he was going to let kayne make it.

I didn't realise the other night (in Seattle) that there was a history between PJ and Kanye. That makes what he said the other night even better. Gotta love it when Ed goes off on his tangents.

Ed couldn't write those lyrics in a 1000 years. Not saying Kanye is better, just saying that's a great fucking song and it's pretty damn clever lyrically.

kayne made a masssive cluster fuck out of his bonnaroo set. he was suppose to play the 2nd stage, then he had to have the main stage supposdly because his set was so big. so they put him on the main stage after PJ. well, as anyone that was there or heard the bonnarroo boot, PJ played for a wee bit longer than the allotted time.

i tried to hang around for Kanye but but after screwing around at other tents for an hour and waiting at the main stage for an hour, i said fuck it and went to bed.....as did most people

kind of a dick move on ed's part. it's one thing to let your set run long because you're rocking out, another to then shaft the next performer because you're too cool to acknowledge whoever is playing after you.

ok, are we both still joking, b/c if so, i just almost peed my pants with your deadpan there? if you are in fact serious, OMG I hope you're wearing a helmet. no offense.

"i ain't sayin' she's a gold digger, but she ain't messin with no broke n---az." doesn't really strike me as being above ed's scope of talent. even the verses aren't great, although i do laugh at the part about the guy driving off in the the hyundai after the super bowl

kayne could have also played the stage that he was assigned to instead of being a bitch

they tried to cut short PJs set with that bullshit. fuck that, THEY ARE THE HEADLINER. Glad they played all night.

the 'announcement' was something about acid trips or something anyway. it was a joke.

Since 2000, Kanye has made 2 fucking brilliant albums. Pearl Jam, zero.

    exactly, you laugh:

"If you ain't no punk holla' we want pre-nup
    WE WANT PRE-NUP!, yeah
It's something that you need to have
'Cause when she leave yo' ass she gon' leave with half
    18 years, 18 years
And on her 18th birthday, he found out it wasn't his?"

Ed could never write something that funny and true. I'm definitely not joking. Kanye is an asshat, but it doesn't change the fact that he has made some mind-blowing albums. Just like Axl Rose being a douche doesn't make Appetite any less kick ass or Liam being a twat makes the first 2 Oasis albums stone classics.

Kanye is todays puffy. Not real talented, but is making a killing in that same niche.

Ever see when Ashton Kutcher "punkd" him. It was before he was very famous and he was already an ass.

    Disagree.
    These guys are talented.
They’re just too ghetto for their own good. It’s sad. ghetto-ness or whatever you want to call it holds so many people back.
