i can accept 17yrs was a good long time to have had my sweet kitty. though now it's oddly quiet without bill's meowing & his fun, furry love being around...i'm not sure how to handle that :(
Awww :( Sorry to hear that. That is a long life for a kitty, and I'm sure he had a wonderful time on earth. My Werner is approaching his 15th year now, and I don't want to think about him not being there anymore ... But eventually, the day will come :?

:( I agree with Leezestarr... you will be ready one day to find a worthy successor. I lost my 17 year old Early last November, and in January I found TWO. Of course, they don't replace him, but one of them acts just like him. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand.

for now it just helps to imagine he's met up with his brother ted (passed on 6 yrs ago) and their together playing or cuddled-up...back to being most excellent kitties on the otherside :angel: :angel:
