Why are Book of Mormon tickets so Damn expensive?

    Preach!

I even signed up for one of these things they do for students here to get cheap tickets but they never have the good stuff on there. It's upsetting. I mean I live less than half an hour from the fuckin' theatre district and I N-E-V-E-R get to go see anything. Stupid.

On Sunday I found out that my bike was stolen. It was locked to the bike rack in my apartment building so they had to cut the lock with a bolt cutter. It's not in the view of the door, so I think the person that did it lives in my building... I filed a police report, but unless it turns up somewhere, there is likely nothing they can do as i don't have any leads on a suspect. Kinda scary as I never had anything like this happen to me.

I hope you find your bike Frank!!

They sure are! They do have a lottery sometimes on Twitter--I actually won tickets to the show that way once. No way I could have afforded them otherwise.

I do think you have to be in the NY area for the Twitter lottery. Otherwise, the lottery 2 hours before the show could be worth a shot! You line up, put your name in, and if they call your name, you get cheap tickets (usually cash only).

I will have to look into this some more! The only discounts I found were like $2 off. Woo...$2 that's not even service fees!

Haven't heard of Rush tickets...or the TKTS booth. I know sometimes some venues release tickets for no-shows. I've bought standing tickets for the ballet.

I need to look into options some more!

They had TKTS in London too, so I thought maybe it was common. Rush tickets are direct from the box office. Usually when it opens you get tickets for that night's performance for ~$40
