please explain the Geico commercial to me where the lizard is in a hotel lobby and a dramatic blond thinks he is Stanley who stood her up in Toledo in 2003. he said, "I'd hate to be Stanley."

what does that have to do with insurance?

It doesn't have anything to do with Insurance, but the fact that you remember that it was a Geico commercial is the point, and proves that it's working. ;)

it's a nasty thought, she had a date with a slimy lizard.

Is it so hard to say goodmorning or at least a hi? It's going to be one of those bitchy day's again with her. I wish my co-worker would stop being so miserable, it is Friday after all. Cheer the fuck up!

My favorite client, the self proclaimed congressman, comes up to me a minute ago, “Do you know what weekend it is? Its Martin Luther King weekend, that means I’m gonna be dancing all weekend. I’m gonna put my coat down right now and give you something. Come here sugar pudding.” Then he puts his arm in my face and says “I don’t smell like pee pee today!” I respond, laughing, with “get that arm out of my face congressman.” He responds with a “let me hear that beautiful voice again and watch this” and he begins to dance like Bill Cosby repeating to himself and me “no more rhetoric, no more rhetoric”. He is still dancing.

Sounds like Jukee's coworker could use a bacon enema with simultaneous bacon intravenous infusion.

I can't believe they didn't all leap at the opportunity to take on all my cases and projects during the "transition" meeting. Just a lot of this:

Other person: "How many hours a week does XXX project take you?"

UD: "It's widely variable, depending on how many presentations are in progress."

Other person: "Is it like, 4 hours a month?"

UD: "It doesn't average out like that. Sometimes a whole month might pass with nothing in progress, then I'll get four presentations at once and have to get them all done. It's not a cycle, and there's no predictable pattern. Each individual presentation is maybe 4 hours for me to do, but I write really fast."

Other person: "So would you say maybe 12 hours a month? Or 16?"

UD (really losing patience): "Again, it is widely variable. You have to drop what you're doing to get these out when they come, and each one is probably 4 hours of work."

Other person: "So maybe 4 hours a month?"

UD: "It will probably take you 4 hours a week, since you are a hunt-and-peck bonehead."
