    Thanks. Yeah, I'm close enough to help her on the weekends anyway, and my sister is busy but a stay at home mom so she should be able to help, and luckily my aunt's in town right now too. Shame that it's the right hand though! My mom's going to go nuts not being able to do all the things she does, like gardening and cooking and all these other hobbies that require two functioning arms! Geez, i'm not even sure she'll be able to drive her car, since it's a standard! At her age, it could take a long time for use in that hand to really come back even after the cast is off. Poor mom. :( But on the bright side, she didn't get hurt even worse! Crashing on a bike is no joke for older folks, even when they're as fit as she is.
    Sorry to hear that Hope your Mum is ok and that She has a quick Recovery.

    so some people are outside hanging out in the alley behind my building. My building is in an H shape and they are in the space where people's windows face each other. I am on the 5th floor, I have only one window open about 6 six inches, and I can hear their conversation perfectly, nevermind the music.

    How painful must this be for the people on the 1st and 2nd floor who could open their windows and touch them if they wanted to?

    What is so difficult to understand about acoustics that they don't realize that space is an echo chamber? And why do the women screech like hyenas when laughing?

    I have tried everything and I can't believe nothing has changed. A child isn't like a spouse, you can't just give up on them but God, someday he'll realize how much hurt he's caused. I have no idea what to do, for the first time as a mother. I need to just not think for awhile.
