I am so fucking pissed at cable. They must have been working down the street and screwed me again.. This is the fourth time. Now tmr I have to leave work and come meet some guy and explain that the problem is outside just like the last 3 times they fucked it up....Why does no one listen to me. Look at the last 3 work orders for the same problem and just fix it without bothering me and making me miss time from work! If I could I would climb up that pole and do it myself....bastards! I'm demanding something in return this time. Free DVR maybe? My understanding and patience is now gone...compensate me for my time and 24 hours with no tv and their incompetence..MOFO!!!

The best books I read are always book given to me by my mom.
The books I pick out myself I rarely finish, and when i do, the enjoyment of them was significantly less.
I think she knows me and I just like to lie to myself? or maybe some other reason...

It sounds like your mom does know your taste in books. I don't think you are lying to yourself...I think you are curious and are exploring different ideas/authors/genres. The upside: you are discovering what you don't like, which helps to focus on what you do.
