Aaand another interview tomorrow! Woo! It's sorta out of left field (something I've never thought about doing/honestly had no interest in doing), but if I can get a job out of it, why not, right? Doesn't have to be my job forever.

Sometimes you have to take a job just to pay the bills. It's why I was a bridal consultant for several years during college. I measured a lot of semi nude people for my tuition to college and I have to say, if I had a full third breast, I'd probably say something to the person measuring BEFORE they get to it. Just sayin'. I saw a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff. :open_mouth:

^^Oh man...I guess on the bright side, there is no nudity in this job!

Also--have to bring a copy of my transcript to the interview. Haven't looked at it for a while, and discovered two things: I FORGOT to change my GPA after my final semester, so my resume's shown a lower GPA than I ended up graduating with...and it's been almost a year since I've graduated college. It isn't much higher, but it's higher.

And man, I was hard on myself throughout college. Looking back, I really kicked college's ass. I am proud looking back.

worried about my lack of motivation at work.....I am a CPA, and it always takes a bit of time to get back into the groove after the 4/15 deadline. My boss has been hounding me to be more productive.

Trying to decide whether to stay in a hotel or use airbnb for my trip to Paris in Oct

Jenny, how long are you in Paris? Unless it's just a couple of days, I'd strongly recommend VRBO, which is a site that allows you to rent flats/apartments. We stayed in a beautiful flat in Paris last summer for much less than the cost of a comparable hotel, and had cooking facilities, laundry, etc.

I'd expect that'd be quite expensive though? The airbnb would only be €102 for 2 nights with free breakfast :) At the moment I have a hotel booked for €106 (free cancellation)

The flats are often cheaper than hotels but you usually need to stay for a week in high season, although off season it might be shorter. Have a good time whatever you choose.

Trying to choose paint colours for the exterior of our house. It seems so fraught with potential disaster if you choose the wrong one, because everyone can see it. It's not like just painting a room in your house. After an hour at the paint store we bought two little sample jars and came home and painted chunks of the back of our house. I had worried that both of the colours might be too dark, but on the house both are way too light; the grey-blue is too blue, and the grey-green is too green. Aargh. And this is just the start; we also need to choose trim and "accent" colours. I may just give up and have the whole thing beige again - sorry, "harvest", "torn parchment", or maybe "pistachio". :frowning:

    When I was Farm
Manager at Tyson, my office was in cold storage.. And the flash freezer was behind it.. Have you ever HEARD meat being flash frozen?? It's super loud, and as the lines empty out, there's this super high pitched hiss.. I cringed every time!! And the only time I got to be warm was making rounds from farm to farm.. But most of the day.. I was bundled up!
