Whats on my mind right now?? Why hasn't my Secret Santa recipient received his/her gift yet...and if she/he has received it why hasn't he/she posted that she/he received it???GRRRRR

That is annoying, one year I sent my person something really nice and they never bothered to post that they received it, nor did I even get a 'thank-you'. Dimi had to email them to see if they got it or not.

One of the reasons I didn't participate this year...

I had a guy do that to me once too. Back when Heineken Helen did it for us.. But the other times have been great. I really like doing the Secret Santa thing!

I know it can be fun! I suppose I was irritated because sure, I understand people get busy, but if they have the time to send an email that they want to participate, they spend the time to get a gift for their person and mail it, it doesn't really take that much more effort to come here and just say "hey, got your lovely gift, don't have time to post a pic, but thanks!" At least be respectful and gracious.

Bah! Sorry, can't stand people who can't show others a little respect.

I totally get it.. I was so sad when my guy never answered wether or not he got the gift.. And I'd put a lot of thought and energy into it.. ( I drive four hours to another TOWN, to find a record I saw on his little email Wishlist!) and no response.. I was very sad. But I made myself try again, and everyone else has been very respectful, which us the best part for me, seeing the reaction when people get your gift..

That's sad. Sorry to hear you didn't join in because of such an expirience.
Hopefully you could do the same next year as whispering hands did.
I didn't join in the fun, but reading about it is fun on it's own.

Every time I go to the porch and skim the threads, I keep reading 'fuckbox.com' instead of 'fukubox.com' ... I swear it started with that 'limited edition PJ signed porno player'.

All I can think about is how much I don't want to do everything I have to do. And how much my back hurts.

What an idiot...to steal someone's dog. Though I'm so glad he's home!
