    School starts this week. I'm anxious about being able to keep up with it all. Work, homework, helping to solve the inevitable social crises of the day, kid pick ups, kid drop offs, back to school nights, back to school picnics, school forms, cooking, laundry, shopping, Sunday school, my bike, my yoga

    Oh yeah... And we are in the midst of a major home renovation right now. I'm feeling overwhelmed.

    I hope you feel better soon.

    Had the strangest dream that people were planning to blow up our local shopping centre with all the people in it. It was terrifying.

    I'm sitting in the waiting room at the hospital - Mom's been in surgery for about an hour and a half, didn't realize how nervous i was till i realized i forgot my phone and packed dog treats. And my son, Tanner, who I've wrote about - he ran away last July - has been back home for a week, not willingly. It came down to either get your ass in the car or I'm done and leaving you with the police; and the sperm donor wasn't allowed to take him nor did he want to (gee, parenting's hard, huh?). And school starts on Thursday and I have none of his stuff at my house. Except for him, which is a first step.

    Positive anything sent towards us all would be gratefully accepted. No one has to; I'm just worried and typing about it helps.

    Otherwise, not much going on here. 8-}

    I completely understand how you could feel that way. It's not easy, but I see you have things for yourself on there which is so healthy. Yoga is something I've been wanting to get back into my routine for awhile - it centers me, physically and mentally. I'll add that to my list of things to do (I should just hang the to do list on the wall so I can laugh at it each time I pass it).

    You seem very organized - I bet you are more ready for the busy school year than you give yourself credit. Hope things have been going well. And I remember when you first posted about the renovations. It must be chaotic right now, but the end product will be so worth it.. :)>-

    Thanks Marilor - I just got the news that Mom is in recovery and she made it through surgery well and everything is good. She will be coming home today. I'm so relieved.

    See, just posting here makes things better. :x

    Thanks so much Nancy! A little encouragement goes a long way! You are right in everything you said. I know it's going to be all good, I'd be lost without my bike and yoga and the addition will be worth it in the end. I'm so happy to hear your mom is in recovery and even happier to hear that your son is home with you. It's all tracking in the right direction.

    Have a good night... :-h
