hes australian.. we have quite a high incidence of skin cancer due to the ridiculous amounts of sun we get and the fact that we spend a shitload of time outdoors because of that. the news that hugh jackman was treated for skin cancer is not surprising at all, let alone shocking. cancer doesn't discriminate... and yep cancer is still a bitch.

  • If I had to choose between Pearl Jam and an old friend, I would pick Pearl Jam in a heartbeat. I know that now. Its time for me to cross that road and cut ties with all the lies that she's been living in. Like a good friend told me, I've grown tired of extending my friendship to her and getting nothing in return--disappointment mainly. Our lives have already grown so far apart anyway. I'll always be thankful for the huge things she did help me with in my life, but I guess now its time to move on.

  • We snowmobiled this weekend for the first time this winter! Little did we know that we had the trails to ourselves because snowmobiling season starts on December 1st and hunting season is still on  :fp: We rode through a blizzard, and I cursed my helmet without a heated visor cause my choices were a) having an inch of the visor to be actually clear because it fogged up, froze over and it snowed, or b) having the visor up and getting snow and cold into my eyes, but seeing at least something  But I had a blast! And nobody mistook us for deer! Now I have snowmobile arm, but it feels good! Even my thumb bore with me this time and I didn't topple over or got stuck - YAY! Cannot wait for December to ride again, then with a heated visor!

And a little less than two weeks till SEATTLE!!! WOHOOOO!
