Got the referral for the pediatrician and called to make appointment for Mr K. OMFG the first available date for an assessment is the 27th MAY!!! And that's going privately, I would hate to see the wait time for the public system.
I wonder if I'm avoiding packing as a way to avoid the knowledge that my grandmother died. :?

Thank you so much. I just finished packing & fly out for her funeral in a few hours. I think maybe subconsciously I feel like if I don't go she won't be dead. She lived a very long & full life though - 95 years! She's actually my great-grandmother.

My parents & grandparents all got married around age 19 & had kids starting around age 21, and me, both my parents, and some of my grandparents were/are the oldest of their/my generation, so I've been extremely fortunate to have known most of my great-grandparents. And I had another great-grandmother who lived to be 97!
