Deleting a person sounds so weird and mean.

Especially when you still talk to them outside of cyber world

All these changes in interpersonal communication and interaction sometimes make me want to write another thesis just to explore the whole thing more. I would do it now, but there's no time, no time :fp:

It's so interesting, but disgusting at the same time ...

It's appalling to know some do this. It's also a very fascinating subject to ponder.

I'm pondering doing it myself. I only want an inch or two off. It can't be difficult. Can it?

Re: Dimi and deleting a person... It reminds me of the descriptions of strategy computer games. They always sound so interesting, as if you would have a lot of options and could be really creative, but in the end, everyone just needs to operate within the limits of the game in order to progress. When I started playing The Sims, I explained to people that in the game I needed to make friends in order to get a better job and stuff like that, but I hated the moral restrictions of the game. I didn't like all these patterns my character was pressed into after a short time and started trying to corrupt the logic of the game. Then it was fun  Games like this and also facebook are somewhat imitating our life, or trying to, and it is strange to observe that somehow lots of people adopt this for their real life. Thank god real life is different.

All I can do is shake my head and laugh.......... :fp:
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols
