it's released in 2 days here - it doesn't seem like they're sending emails out. or they REALLY misjudge how long mail takes...
  • I live in the area and I checked the mail yesterday and today. No luck yet... :(

by my calculations they would have to ship Backspacer out to me tomorrow to get it by the 20th
  • My son sits on the porch everyday after school waiting for the mailman. The guy tells him nothing from that cult has arrived yet. Hope it comes soon.

  • if they havnt shipped yet they better ship them tomorrow otherwise people wont be getting them until after the 20th. That would be bullshit since they have had them ready to ship for at least 2 weeks.

Seriously, I'm gonna need some positive news out of the Evergreen State today so I can still hope to have this before I leave for the Seattle shows.
  • I'm hoping an 11:00 or noon EST email notification today aying they've been shipped. If we don't get email notifications today I've got to think either A) they aren't sending email notifications for the album or B) there will not be guaranteed delivery to the continental US before Monday. To get the album to everyone in the continental US by the release date (which essentially would be Saturday) I would think they'd have to ship them out today.

If we don't get an email notification, our best bet is to wait and see when people in Seattle start seeing the album in their mailboxes. If they start showing up today or tomorrow I think the rest of us will be in luck for a Friday or Saturday delivery here on the east coast.

    7/1/2018 - Prague
    7/3/2018 - Kraków
    7/5/2018 - Berlin
  • Should have had it shipped to my office... I won't know today until 6pm EST at the earliest... I hope I'm not disappointed! :D
  • Part of me is really hoping that the 10C decided not to issue shipment notifications this time around, and that the album will show up tomorrow or Friday unexpectedly. That would be an excellent surprise, but I just don't know how likely it is.

  • everyone just needs to take three steps back and relax. it'll get here when it gets here. i'm extremely excited to hear these songs for the first time once the disc and record are in my hands, but i'm not going to lose sleep over it beforehand.

yes, i really want to have it by saturday at the latest, but its really out of my control at this point. i won't resort to the interwebs for an early listen. the only album i did that for was 'riot act.' after that i swore i'd never do it again, because it really ruined the release day & first listen of the actual album for me.

so here's to a great upcoming week, which might possibly contain a 36-minute soundtrack on constant repeat! :D

Same here. If I get a shipment notification today, there is a good chance I won't have it till Monday. It will be a nice surprise for people to just have them show up unannounced.

What if, after stopping by the 10C offices, the band members realize that the album won't make it to the loyal fan clubbers until after the street date. After some careful organizing and google mapping, they all (Boom included even though I don't think he's featured on the album) grab a bunch of boxes and set off to hand deliver the album to people's mailboxes.

I'm going to rush home right now and hope to run into Mike dropping off my cd. Seeing as how I was his last stop on the east coast, I invite to come in for some snacks. Once refreshed, I walk him to the door and he notices my guitars. He asks, "Do you play?" I say, "Not professionally." We have a nice chuckle, jam for a bit, and then off he goes...

    Somewhat likely, no?

I wonder if all the posts regarding the album being leaked made the 10C decide not to send shipment emails?

I don't follow your logic...wouldn't you want to let people know its coming so they don't have to download it illegally?
I am right by your side...
