If breakfast is the most important meal of the day...

Why dont High schools serve that after 1 class, and then let students fend for themselves for lunch when they're done at 2:00?

back when I was in high school breakfast was served at 7am-8am. First class was at 8:15

Lunch i think at 11:45 and we got out at 3:15

if that still holds true for most then by all means the kids have all the chances to eat

I know I sure did and by 3 I was starving again

Maybe because high school kids, should be able to fix their own breakfast, before going to school in the morning??????

Why feed the kid at 7am....and then have him go to class for 8 hours????

Doesnt it make sense to feed the kid at the mid-way point of the day????

Assuming he/or his parents fixed some kind of breakfast???

I have been out of high school for 25 years.....

And I still think about their cheeseburgers(soybean burgers) and soup....I thought it was delicious....

and the little cartons of milk.....hehehehehe

Friday was our pizza day! And mini lasagna! Mmmmmm!

Breakfast is overrated....I've stopped eating it the last couple of months....and have dropped a dress size....and I get less hungry if I don't eat breakfast. I sit on my arse all day....I don't need much fuel.

Anyway, kids by high school should be able to make their own friggin breakfast before school.

When I was at school 12 years ago it cost me about $4 to $5 for a salad breadroll and bottle of water! :?

Mashed potatoes? That's weird. Ohhhh....you guys have indoor cafeterias etc, don't you? Us Aussies have tuckshop/canteen! The whole cafeteria thing in movies has always fascinated me.
