Favre's WR through out his time in the NFL were WAY better than Elway's, Montana and Aikman had good WR's and TE's usually. But come on Elway didn't have much, I don't know how old some of you people are but I'm in my late 30's and I can remember Elway taking his team to the Super Bowl 3 times in the 80's with teams that had NO REASON being there.
They always got crushed, but he single handedly lead them there, the joke used to be "How many Broncos does it take to change a tire, one, unless it's a blow out, then the whole team shows up." So spare me your poor "Frave has had a bunch of nobodys to throw to." I suppose all these pro bowl apperances don't mean anything.

Staubach, Montana, and probably soon to be Brady once he is retired.

Being a Pittsburgh fan myself I was glad to see Bradshaw finally mentioned on page three. He did win 4 Super Bowls in 6 years and I think 2 MVPs(Swan & Harris ?). I also love Marino, but I think it's obviously Montana(HATE the 49ers). Brady and Manning may enter the arguement later.

Whil Bradshaw wa a winner for sure, his career stats are merely pedestrian at best:
A career completion pct of 51.9, 212TD to 210Ints ratio and passer rating of 70.9.
Certainly not the NFL's greatest ever.
For those who argue someome like Brady doesn't belong in the discussion because he was lucky to play on good teams, this is the guy who really deserves that label.
He's in the HoF because he was on 4 SB winners...as a pure passer he is not in the top 20 all time.
Calling his own plays and so forth are a plus, but most QB's did back then, and guys like Manning and Brady audible so much these days that they are pretty much doing it.

Troy Aikam most definitely.. Started way at the bottom and rised to the top. Three Superbowls, should have been four. But Favre is awesome too.. I know sterling sharpe was one of his weapons...

Man you must have a huge man crush on Favre, yes he is one the best QB's to ever play, but to say some of these players were all nobodys until he "made" them pro bowlers, give me a break. Franks and Walker were both very good college players at Florida State and Miami and were both first round picks, it's not like they came from the arena leauge and Sharpe had good stats before Farve ever got there.

Elway had 2 WR's Anthony Miller 95, Ed McCaffery 98 make the pro bowl his whole career and 1 TE Sharpe 92-98 go to the pro bowl.
Absolutely I do; Franks was decent in college, but all he could score for Favre was 1 yard touchdown catches that no defense ever studied. Walker was terrible his first 2 years; worst route runner I ever saw in person; his 3rd year he was good and then he was gone. The only consistently good receivers he's had is Driver and Sharpe

I see the push to get soccer popular in the states but I really don't see it taking hold. We're a Football / Baseball country. To each their own.
If NE wins it all again this year, I will change my answer to Tom Brady.
Fifteen years from now, BRIAN BROHM.
Thirty years from now, Brady Brohm (he's only 3 years old, give him time).
I never said Bradshaw was the best ever. And I don't believe that Brady belongs in the argument because his career is not over.
Without a doubt it would have to be Joe Montana!

Brady has had zero WR's, zero TE's and zero RB's make the pro bowl.
Yet he still won (3) super bowls.
Troy Brown and Corey Dillon went to pro-bowls.
