i don't know if it's the same in NZ but gates open in Aus at 4pm and i'm guessing early entry will only be 15 minutes. that's what it normally is for PJ G.A shows.

what you also gotta consider is you gotta pick up your 10 club tickets before you even think about lining up at the gate. and the ticket window won't open too early, i think for previous tours it's only been about an hour before doors open.
I think I read 4.30 and 5 for the two NZ shows, but now it's "To be confirmed" or something. What about lining up for early entry and then just popping out from that line to grab one's tix. That'd seem acceptable to me, I suppose it depends how "cool" the rest of the line is...

well mt smart is hardly the kind of place you can just POP over to to pick up tickets and then mosey on outta there... it's really a commitment. once you're there to pick up tickets.. you're there til the show is over.

Ditto, fact I got three, but that's OK... I even have the elusive Shape-O®! I could still do with one of those St Christophers though, it being my name and all ;)

though my memory of that place is exclusively big day out and i just know how slow it is getting there and getting home on those days.. so maybe it's not that bad.. but i envision the ticket pick up being the start of the stay

I meant if there were tow queues, one for entry and one for 10C tickets. I can't line up in two queues at once, and which one is the best to line up for first? I was thinking the main queue would be the entry queue, since that's long term. 10C pickup is (or can be) quick.

oh. well. in my mind it goes like this.

*go to ten club booth - pick up ten club tickets nice and early - give santos a pat on the head and a dog treat*

*proudly display VIP-type wrist adornment allowing entry into special line up for early entry*

*get let in early... lean casually against front barrier*

*get serenaded by edward while the plebs outside howl for blood*

    sounds just swell to me.
i'm mildly freaking out realising how potentially hugely i've fucked up getting tickets on a plane that arrives in adelaide at 3:00pm on the afternoon of the concert. i've started having nightmares about being one of those guys who missed the concert (along with all my little crew of buddies coming over on the same flight) because of a delay or cancellation of the flight. i've read posts telling these stories and i don't like it one bit.

what do we have to show to receive the tix? do you need photo id and to be that person, or can someone pick up my tix for me? or maybe that'd be risky if i am going to be late beyond entry time. holy shit! november 17th could either be one of the greatest nights of my life or just a really big fuck up. :?

Postive thinking, mate. You have to pick up your tickets with your own photo ID. You'll be able to pick them up until the time PJ comes on, maybe later so worse case you miss Liam and Ben. You'll be OK, I reckon, at least Adelaide traffic is not bad (is it? when I was there last I hardly saw any cars!).

Quite right. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... I'm sure it will work out on the day, and at least I have another chance in Chch. The problem I have is my wife can't get off work until a bit later in the day. I suppose it will be alright for the +1 to join the 10C member in the queue. Surely we don't have to both hang around?

thanks bazzer - i just have to go with the flow hey; i've never been one to stress at all about anything, and i hadn't thought about it for a second, until i got a domestic flight the other day that was delayed for 6 hours! hopefully i spent all my bad delay karma on that one. as far as i know traffic shouldn't be too much of an issue. bring on nov 17 i say. 8-)
