    Was driving across the bridge towards the city today and we had to go around a crash involving a taxi. The advertising thing on the boot had fallen off and my old man says to me “Hey aren’t they the boofheads you are going to NZ to see?” It was a Backspacer advert.

    Clear the car and stop at the toll booth. “Fuck look there is another one” Fully taking up the back of one of those bus style taxi’s. Directly next to it was another. 3 ads in 25 seconds.

    i've also decided just now because it's playing that Release will be the opener for the Auckland show. Because it will be a big pent up explosive release for us and i think it'd be a good choice.

    hey. you're coming to AUSTRALASIA. not JUST australia. apart from the random footage from the 7 worlds collide dvd there was no mention of nz at all PLUS when they list all the gigs played "down under" they didn't mention the 4 gigs they've done here (95 and 98).

    i had a tour dream last night actually. someone made me really late leaving wellington and something happened to my car.. had to borrow dad's car and it was the day of the auckland show and i was barely out of wellington and was freakin' the fuck out.

    eek.

    it's gonna be a grand old drive up the island on the 26th of november...

    I actually wrote a letter to the band in the scrap book that was handed to Eddie on Seattle night 2, and put a request in for Release in Auckland. Fingers crossed...
