Will you skip....

Will you skip "The fixer" after listening to the complete Backspacer a few times?
I can't see myself listening to it much, you get the idea after one or two listens...

dude the fixer is the best song ever so i certainly cant see myself skipping it, but maybe thats just me
the fixer gives me goosebumps every time i hear it on the radio, just like all new pj songs should.
I think I'll be skipping The Fixer forever.

ha ha your a bad fan
The only exceptions I can think of are Vitalogy and Pinkerton by Weezer. I pop the disc before the last track on both discs. Because they suck enough to make me want to lay my head on a burning pillow, and also just shoot my head with a gun, and also drown.
Otherwise, all or nothing.

..
... no, I'm not gonna skip The Fixer, I actually like it a lot
...is it so wrong to think that love can keep us safe?
How can you say that? You've listened to No Code a thousand times and Backspacer ZERO times. I think it's a little early to make that comparison.
No I'm not. I just hate this song. I try to listen to it. I have the mp3. I NEVER get through the entire song. I can't even imagine how much I'd hate it if it was written by another band.

ha ha
is the fixer the only song u don't like cause i think i dont like ANY pj songs...which makes me a better fan than you! ha!!
Ten - I can listen to the whole way thru. All GREAT songs
VS - I almost exclusively listen to it the whole way thru. Best album IMO.
Vitalogy - Some of the best songs, but not really a cohesive mix.
No Code - An eclectic collection, but definitely can listen as a whole album
Yield - Somewhat of a whole album, but never stuck together as an album as much as the others.
...the rest of the albums seam more like a collection of songs than they do "albums", particularly Riot Act. A lot of great songs, but not really an "album" to me.
Anyway, I'll probably skip The Fixer after the first couple of full listens. It seems that they created this song to be popular to make money on the album and make money thru the radio, and less for the craft of it. ...but that's just my opinion. It's all over the radio, so, I think their strategy is working. The Fixer is kinda like a McDonald's hamburger... designed for mass consumption (though I'm a vegetarian

Well, don't get crazy...it's no Hail, Hail.
That said, no way will I skip it...it short anyhow. I'll be more likely to skip the ballads from time to time.
Yield- Somewhat of a whole album???????????????????? I just fainted.
Haha... I know. Saying The Fixer will hold Backspacer together is like saying the Star Wars movies were anchored by Episode I.

Well sure there's a few PJ songs I can take or leave. But The Fixer is the only one I truly hate and can't listen to.

Just wondering, have you seen the song live?
I was in the same boat as you, couldn't stand it at first. But after seeing it live, it changed my perception and now I really dig it.
