i am a complete computer novice and have downloaded some flac files and have no idea how to listen to them , is anyone able to help in leymans terms please

    FLAC files are basically music files for nerds. They don't lose quality like MP3s which are compressed.

    Google FLAC converter, you'll be able to convert them to MP3/WMA what ever you want. Or some things play FLACs (Winamp?) I'd imagine you could just google a FLAC codec.
