    +1. Considering I'm in engineering and seem to have a midterm roughly every week, and the fact that I have trips to New York planned for the end of October and mid-November, a weekday show potential worries me. That said, I think the likelihood of a show in Toronto in the near future, as much as I want it, is quite minimal.

    Yeah I'd be very surprised if it was another show... I'm not expecting one until next year atleast. Dammit they really need to starting do night stands here all the time, one show doesn't cut it.

    I wonder if they tried to but they couldn't cause the Molson Amp was booked the night before and after? Also, I don't recall any bands doing back-to-back shows ever at the Molson Amp? Maybe I am wrong but looking at the schedule of that place, it doesn't seem like it.

    I loved being outside that day and prefer the Amp over the ACC for that reason but if it meant we could have had 2 shows back to back like last time they were in T.O., I would have picked the ACC...

    I bet they wanted to play the ACC but with all the construction going on down there they probably decided not to. Isn't it closed or something for renovations and stuff right now?

    Yes, Acc closed for renos.
    That I no longer give a fuck
    Who is wrong and who’s right
  • its probably a contest to send a winner to van or seattle or just a backspacer listening party.
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    I'm hearing the band is building high-speed rail to connect Toronto to the Spectrum.

    it might be something along the lines of a toronto dvd given all those cameras at the show, but i doubt she or dick blundel would announce that

    I have a feeling it will be this or something similar. Pina is the inside edge person who handles the contests.

    Were there cameras in places besides the stage? If there weren't, my guess is that all those cameras were merely for the screens... there were numerous cameras at the Chicago shows too. In regards to who would announce something like that - don't forget that Billboard has been making announcements before the Ten Club does as of late.

    This is going to be nothing more than one of those "Edge Adventures" where they send you somewhere to see Pearl Jam. It won't have anything to do with the city of Toronto...

    Maybe they'll send you to Seattle or if you're lucky, One of the Australia shows but there won't be any surprise Toronto shows being announced on Monday.

    But if Pina is having withdrawals and this is going to solve them, does that mean she is going on the trip with the winner? I know she is a HUGE PJ fan and I feel that she would not get our hopes up for stupid contest rather than something for the PJ Fan Base. If it is a contest I am going to tell her to stop Twittering stupid shit!

    That's my #1 guess too. One of the things I mentioned to her was along these lines ... a trip to see PJ ... I listed 2 places that I thought were most likely and Australia wasn't one of them. Since she told me that I was close on one of my guesses but didn't exactly have it right, I'm guessing that I had the concept right but the location wrong. Australia makes a hell of lot more sense than Philly (for example) for a BIG announcement.

    I'd say smart money is on just that right now. Good call Cinnamon Girl :mrgreen:

    Although a BIG announcement could also be all four of the Philly shows. Oh well. In any case, we'll find out in a few days!

  • could also be a contest to give away toronto download shows or backspacer albums too. I'm hoping for another show in Toronto, don't forget in 2005 they played and only a few months later played 2 shows back to back in 2006!
