I'm not going to get excited. It's probably some contest to send you to Vancouver or Seattle etc.

If I am wrong.....I am ok with that too.

Ok, I'm intrigued. Someone head over to Mr. Blundell's home and "convince" him to speak. This tease stuff is gay.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised to hear a Toronto show announcement, as part of a full-blown east coast tour. Though on the other hand, the lack of rumours circulating doesn't help that.

Actually, as of a few days ago, I'm smoking no weed, but it's more that I'm ever hopeful to an unrealistic extent. But I know it.

    I'd love this to happen.
However, whenever Dean does an "edge adventure" they always hype it in advance... he's due for one too.

    I hope I'm wrong... badly.

hope they do something about that sound if they are playing another show at the Molson Amphitheatre...........

way louder than any other PJ show ive been to.......all you could hear was mike, ed and matt playing as a trio

I agree. Easy solution - don't play the Amphitheatre. And I'd say that's probably a safe bet if they play here again soon, as this summer appears to be over in terms of temperature... a bit half-assed if you ask me.

I'd put money on an Edge Adventure to Vancouver/Seattle, don't look for PJ around here till sometime next year.

I have heard some similar complaints. It seems to be spotty. I thought the sound was great where I was. I have heard others say the sound was great too. Others swear it was awful where they were...

I was in section 203 row R, and honestly i had trouble recongnizing some songs at first. It was very muddy sounding.

201 K. I thought it sounded good from where I was. I heard someone else from my section say they were the last seat against the wall on the side and it sounded terrible from there

Interesting. I doubt it is anything other than the aforementioned contest to win a trip to see them in either Vancouver or Seattle.

Then again, there was talk a while back about HMV running a promotion in Canada that is similar to the SBE show in London...

Edit: Now that I think about it, I doubt the Edge would break the news about an HMV sponsored concert...

thrilled... smoking a joint was basically the first thing i did when i got home. was good meeting you jim, hope you and jen got back to your respective homes alright. regarding the sound though - i was dead center in the fifteenth row of 202 (center section), and thought the sound was better than the first night of chicago, worse than the second. my real issue with the amphitheatre is the way the bass travels... seems i 'feel' the bass rather than hear it.

  • Hey just jumping in here. I too thought the sound at the Amp was terrible for like the first 8 songs or so (until they slowed it down). After that it got much better. I was sec 101 so I chalked it up to being so close, but it really sucked cuz I brought my buddy who is a PJ virgin and I wanted it to be a kick ass show, which it was except for the sound.
