please put me on the RSVP list for N2 (28th).

I will PM elwayvedder if my auction donation item comes in (was supposed to donate at Toronto but I had some 'technical difficulties", sorry again D!).

I'm driving down from Albany, leaving at 9:00 am that day. I think I can make it by 3?

yes will make it by 3:) should take you no longer than 5 hrs from albany:)

Oneforeachday, will you be able to stay for the weekend shows too? If not 1 is much better than 0.:-)
FMHM, sadly, i will not be able to make it for any other shows. I have very important responsibilities (my 7 and 3 yr old kids) to take care of! :-) For as special the other nights will be, I'm the lucky one as trick-or-treating with my kids can't be beat. (plus I got to see the boys in Toronto!).
Yay, Gravy Davey! We'll see u there, & I'll bring a better corkscrew this time ;)
LOL, good plan! lookin forward to seein you too!
Gotcha down my friend for 10/28! Please do PM me if you have items to donate. D's loss in Toronto is our gain! We need items, please! 4 Pre Parties and I am stressin big time!!
Thanks and be safe in your travels down to Philly!
sweet. can't wait. I'll PM you but only after it's confirmed so as to keep expectations low! :-)
  • I'm officially in for all 4.. Should have some stuff to donate in a week or so

i am starting to think of this stuff in my sleep which means a few things:
    1) I am starting to stress about it more than my normal pleasant self
    2) its getting closer to the shows!

Last night's worry that kept me up that I had too many items for auction/raffle (which is good) and only 1 little game table that I brought to lay everything out on and definitely not enough room to have the Wishlist shirts, cups, and stuff to put out. So with that said, I updated the OP with this:

FOLDING TABLES: If you have one and can fit one in with your travels, please bring one!

    thanks!!

I will get them. I think my dream/awake thoughts are just telling me that the next thing to do during soliciting for raffle and auction items is send a few emails or make a few calls and line up some tables to borrow for a week. I will take care of this task during this business week and let ya know how I do!!

Just touching the parking meters ala Monk, EV  . I have complete faith in your ability to overcome anything that comes along and was just messing around. You've been doing an awesome job getting this marathon organized. Kudos to you and everyone else working so hard and donating for these great charities.

    a suggestion for getting tables:
ask the local VFW/American Legion or church.
I've done this in the past and they have always let me borrow what I need usually 2 or 3 folding tables, no rental fee.

of course that would mean you'd have to pick up and deliver the tables from them to the fundraiser and back to them. Also, try checking with the comcast folks, maybe they have some to lend from the sports center.

    just ideas.

Great ideas. Additionally I will see if I can snag a few from the Yellow Ribbon Club themselves as I am sure one or two of the members have a table. We meet this week and a lot of them are excited about what we are doing here. I cant wait until the meeting as I have a handful of CDs I made the mom's and dad's so they can get a taste of this band called Pearl Jam
  • Very nice way EV to share what inspires us.
I have one full box so far for them to send to their loved ones. I have heard from returning vets how much these care packages mean to them. We have sent them from my office to a local soldier and his group in Iraq.
Anyone who would like to donate items from 'da burgh' and can't get it to the show, I'll be happy to take it to Philly along with your donation information. Please PM me if interested.

He's Petrocs, our unofficial team mascot for the Philly Wishlist fund-raisers. He is 6 foot 2 and likes slow, quiet walks on the beach under the moonlight. For a $100 donation to our fund-raisers, he is available for entertainment purposes for weddings and bar mitzvahs. He's our Petrocs and we love him so even when we have to put him in a time out from time to time.

I was even thinking of having a kissing booth at the Philly pre parties with Petrocs manning the show for $1 donations. The fund-raising possibilities are endless and would set a Wishlist record all thanks to our Petrocs

Awesome, thanx W.C.A. I will note it in the OP, giving you and mfc2006 credit. Funny thing is I have this boot. I think it came extra with halluigenic recipe or something back in the early to mid 90's but I forget. Funny how it's come full circle back into my life now again
