Ten club tickets...aren't they supposed to be good?

  • we reserve the best seats in the house for fan club tickets, starting from the first rows on the floor and extending back. We also reserve the side sections closest to the stage when necessary. All Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating unless otherwise announced.
Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and allocated by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 which will be used for random allocation.
Group seating is not an option, but your pair of tickets will be seated together.

This is quoted from the "ten club tickets" under "seating".

I was just on the ticketmaster site , to see what is available for tonight and was able to come up with 2 tickets in section 310. Now I paid for my tickets and went through the 10 club pre-sale in May, and my tickets are in section 317. That does not seem right at all.
  • Guys
The UC is always packed with Ten Club people. I'm a 105XXX and I got 14th row. I'm NOT complaining. I'm just saying someone from 1993-1994 is still 14 rows back. Closest I got at the UC was 7th row or so. Chicago is a very central location for people to travel to. From Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio et al.

If you have 300 level behind the stage and they don't put up the backdrop you probably have a much better view than half the people in the UC. You're looking straight down on the guys. And they do have stacks just for you.

i was just on tm too, they offered seats in section 119, and my seats are in section 334, that's just not right.

This happens at MANY shows where seats get opened up day of. FOlks were waiting at the ticket lines and asking if anything new got released when I got my TC tix. Ten Club can't reserve the whole UC. They just can't.

  • I picked up mine, and I have 318. My 10c # is 406,XXX (yes, I fucked myself when I let it lapse).

I talked to another 10c member who got 311- across the entire fucking arena. There was definitely a mix-up. At least mine are near the stage (far up, but at least in line with it). Hers are across the entire arena. I don't expect decent seats, but I wouldn't expect 90% of the people in there to have BETTER seats than me either (as is the position of the girl I spoke with).

yeah, it looks like the 400 plus people are in the 300s. there are people with lower numbers that have good seats.

to all those people who are saying people are whining, i thought we were free to state our opinions about what was going on. there ARE issues with the way the tix are distributed, there ARE better ways to do things. I love PJ but that doesn't mean that the ten club is infalible, people should give feedback and constuctive criticism if they are not happy with things, how else can things improve?

At some point between the 2006 tour and 2009 my membership number was popped up from 26XXXX to 40XXXX. I'm section 317, row 2 when I was on the floor in 2006. So I at least a view of the stage with evidently a higher membership number than those of you behind the stage.

This is coming from someone who saw them from 5 feet away at the HOB in 2005. I got dumped for spending the $1000 on that ticket. I'd hope that after all of that I could get my # corrected.

  • Hey Buddy I'm there with you section 334! Eddie I followed you to Hawaii all three shows not "lucky" enough to get tenclub tickets but callled the theatres directly got 6th row, 1st row, and 10th row. I am so disappointed in these tenclub tickets. Why be a member for years when I could have purchased from ticketmaster and got the same seat? Who knows maybe Eddie will pull us nosebleed seaters backstage like Dave Matthews did with his warehouse club members here last summer. Now that would be cool. Tomorrow night I paid a ticketbroker so I know I have a great seat. But I paid big because I'm a loyal fan!!! Tell me why I should join the tenclub again???

    my two friends at show

    89xxx - 12'th row floor
    128xxx - 20'th row floor

both are further back than usual, neither is complaining one bit but it does seem there are a lot of members at these shows so not the typical seat locations most are used to. My buddies quote.......

    HAHA now thats the spirit.
