First started listening: Ten on the radio...but heavily in 1994 (PJ in my top 10 bands of all time)
First show: San Diego 1 in 1995
Graduated College in 1996 and lost touch as No Code came out. Just didn't listen to that album. Was reeled back in by Yield and my 2nd show in 1998 at Great Woods. (Counted PJ in my top five bands of all time)
Moved overseas (Korea) and lost touch until 2003...... when I became the uber fan you see now. (PJ is my all time favorite band now!)0 -
If the site would fix the problems it's been having SINCE MARCH, we'd all be able to see each other's profiles.
In the "Technical Stuff & Help" section, people have been posting about the issue since that time! Oh well. Despite being a member (most of the time) since 1994, I'm new to the the forum. So I don't know how it used to be.
A MEMORY: Summer 1993- Writing the lyrics to several songs from Ten in blue/green marker on the walls of my bedroom in a squat I was staying at. The building was a condemned house, divided into four flats. All of the doors and windows were boarded up. Three friends and I got in through a hole in the crawlspace underneath. The house was located at the intersection of Carlos and Vista Del Mar in Hollywood, right behind the PepBoys on the Walk Of Fame. The house was removed at some point. Now the lot is empty. I re-visited it a few years ago. Only the rusty chain-link fence remained. To make a physical connection with my past, I put my fingers in the wire. I looked at the blank field, and remembered. It was a profound moment."May you live in interesting times."0 -
I'm 21 and live in the Worcester MA area. Been a fan since '05 and my first show was 5/24/06 at the TD Banknorth Garden.0
