Lost my 10c number twice while in college and med school, now it is woefully low. That will never happen again!
And I'm scared shitless of clowns
oh, and I had no idea Eddie Vedder did the ITW soundtrack before I saw the movie. I saw it in the theater and said to myself repeatedly how great the soundtrack was....go figure!
I also for the life of me can't figure out how to edit the signature at the bottom of my posts. Any help is appreciated

As a kid I was always into music and knew PJ's hits but nothing more. Then one winter day in 1998 something compelled my 14-year old self to spend my allowance on Yield instead of hockey cards, Green Day posters and lighters from the "crooked" variety store. My parents wouldn't let me go to the Molson Park '98 show so my first show was the ACC in October of 2000.
Fun facts:
- I enjoy all of Wes Anderson and Christopher Guest's films.
- I try to read everything Chuck Klosterman, Charles Bukowski and F. Scott Fitzgerald have ever written.
- As an 18-year old I forged a note to get out of a final exam, told my mom I'm going to a friend's cottage for the weekend, and drove in a friend's car to the first Bonnaroo.
- Used to not go to high-school with carpool and would go with a friend instead. We would close all the windows and hotbox the car to school.
- Ate mushrooms on my last day of high school.
- Surprisingly, I got into university and turned out pretty normal.
- I currently appraise commercial real estate in downtown Toronto!

First Time Listening: 1995
First Show: Chicago, 1998, and have seen them 33 more times since and I don't know that I've been more excited to see them than this Sunday in Chicago.
Ten and the Oceans single were the first CD's I ever bought (in 1995). Probably 20 of my first 30 CD's were Pearl Jam albums, singles, expensive bootlegs. Such an awesome feeling opening up No Code as it was the first CD released after I became a fan. The waiting...
I'm lucky my brother was a big Pearl Jam, as I could've ended up an STP fanatic and been very dissappointed over the years.

If the site would fix the problems it's been having SINCE MARCH, we'd all be able to see each other's profiles.
In the "Technical Stuff & Help" section, people have been posting about the issue since that time! Oh well. Despite being a member (most of the time) since 1994, I'm new to the the forum. So I don't know how it used to be.
A MEMORY: Summer 1993- Writing the lyrics to several songs from Ten in blue/green marker on the walls of my bedroom in a squat I was staying at. The building was a condemned house, divided into four flats. All of the doors and windows were boarded up. Three friends and I got in through a hole in the crawlspace underneath. The house was located at the intersection of Carlos and Vista Del Mar in Hollywood, right behind the PepBoys on the Walk Of Fame. The house was removed at some point. Now the lot is empty. I re-visited it a few years ago. Only the rusty chain-link fence remained. To make a physical connection with my past, I put my fingers in the wire. I looked at the blank field, and remembered. It was a profound moment.
