    I agree.

So I've said it 100000 times and I'll say it again...the BCS sucks serious ass and needs to go away!

College football so desperately needs some sort of playoff system!

Anyways, my Hawkeyes are now ranked 6th (7-0)! GO HAWKS!! :D

it could be 11 on 7 and he would still not throw a decent pass.

we've all heard alligator arms for wr's, but he friggen throws with alligator arms. from a pure QB perspective, i cannot remember a worse OSU QB. he looks like a deer in the headlights when he drops back. he looks were he is going to throw vs. trying to read teh defense. he's terrible. where is Stanley Jackson when you need him.

give bouserman a shot. something. ahahhahahahahaha

that was a pathetic game. purdue has been embarrassed every time they took the field this year, and they made osu look like chumps. it hurts esp becos my ex went to purdue so i have a personal grudge/rivalry going there ;) but as you say, i'm really losing faith in TP's ability as a QB. honestly, the most explosive this team looked since he joined is when they lined him up as a receiver so boeckman could throw to him last season. i'm wondering if it's not time to make a switch there. i think he could make a great WR, but as a QB he's just not improving at all. it's even bringing down a solid defense becos they have to be on the field 40 minutes of every game... osu has plenty of solid receivers that can run good routes and catch footballs, but they can't do that when every time they head out they have to wonder whether or not the ball is going to wind up anywhere near them at the end. it's time the bucks give up on this mobile QB thing. they need a precision passer, something they haven't had in years. TP is a phenomenal athlete, but a terrible QB. i haven't seen anything from him to convince me he's going to improve either.

Mich fan here, so not exactly an o-state opinion, but I do follow the Big 10 hardcore. It will all come down to their final 3 games; @ Penn St., Iowa, @ Michigan. Assuming they win their 2 games before those 3, even if o-state goes 1-2 to close the season, they'll stil finish 8-4. That's probably good enough for the Outback or Cap. One Bowl, both new years day bowls. So I think they'll be fine, they're young this year.

how bout if they go 0-3 to close the season?

    Poulan Weedeater Bowl

that'd give you a 7-5 season. sadly, i at this point it wouldn't suprise me.

how the hell are they going to beat Iowa and Penn State if they can't beat a bad Purdue team.

then MI. uhg. at least MI has a bad D, the buckeyes might be able to hang a fg or two on them.

The problem when you play U of M this year will be which U of M shows up. The A team offense or the B team offense (which is what we seen against, Indiana and Michigan State).

Yes I'm a U of M fan..... But I do like to watch the Big 10.

A or B offense doesn't really matter. The question is will Ohio State win or give the game away with a butt load of unforced error's.

Anyone see that Pryor's high school coach has come out criticizing Tressel for not using his talents well enough? Things are getting interesting in Columbus. I was gung ho on ditching Boeckman last season, but he did kind of get a raw deal, especially given how much slack they've cut TP lately. I don't see Pryor turning the corner on his passing game the way Troy Smith did...

Boeckman was one of my favorite players from the last decade. He was true Scarlett and Gray. He grew up a buckeys fan, was told by the coaching staff to go some place else. said nope. red shirted, gray shirted, then took them to the title game (which was winable, net of a few BIG mistakes). and he threw a ncie pass. TP....man, does he throw like shit.

I tend to agree some with what the guy was saying. OSU would have to come out with a completely different offensive scheme for Pryor, and it won't happen. Tressel won't bench Pryor either. I can see why the OSU fans are pushing for him to be converted to a wide out, the problem is Tressel made him the promise of being OSU's QB. And you just can't go back on a promise in the recruiting world... With another look Tressel is to good of a coach, things will change, Pryor will improve.

Tressel did kind of promise to develop him as an nfl style qb, rather than run a RichRod style college offense, which would probably benefit Pryor. But it doesn't seem to be working. He's got a lot of natural athletic talent, but I don't think raw athleticism is enough to make a good qb and I'm not sure Pryor has what it takes to get there. Though I do think a big problem is coaching. Tressel just doesn't adapt well. He needs a new offensive coordinator and qb coach, somebody that can actually help transition the offense and move TP more smoothly into things than just dropping him in a Tressel offense and hoping he learns.

I agree- Pryor is a great athlete, sort of like Tebow. But that does not mean they can become an NFL style quarterback. Some guys are natural pro style QB's, like Stafford last year, and like Mallet or Clausen this year. Pryor can win in college on his ability alone, and next year he will be better, simply because of that natural ability. Sometimes, you can't just learn to be a pro-style QB. from what I have seen of Pryor, he ahs the ability to play in the NFL, but not at QB.
