A week after Alpine I was up late, having a few drinks with my hubby and was actually looking up prices for an airplane pulling a banner...lol. Lucky for me and my credit card there were no US dates.

Guess I'll head down to the Alamo area gift shop and grab a few of the 5 for $2 postcards instead...In fact I will start sending every TX postcard I can get my hands on.

I have the unfortunate circumstance of having my office RIGHT NEXT DOOR to a Shipley's, and every morning when I walk in to work the smell is unbelievable. It takes every ounce of will power I have to ignore it. Unless you've had Shipleys, you really don't know what you're missing. I'd drive 20 miles past Dunkin, Krispy, or any other donut shop for Shipleys. So yes, play the south and I'll buy each member of the crew their own dozen of whatever they choose.

Ok, I know this question is off topic, but it will help keeping this thread on the first page...I think. Anywho, what would be your ideal 3 stops on a 'tour of the south'?

Mine would be either a tour of Texas or a tour of Florida.

Dallas, Austin & Houston or

Miami, Tampa & Jacksonville.

Really matters not though where they play the South just needs some love
