Just got back from the gig and it was outstanding. 6th time of seeing the boys and this was by far the best - even topping Wembley 2007. 3 songs in I knew I was watching something special. Amazing set - can't believe 'Sleight Of Hand' got played, a favourite of mine but I genuinely never thought I'd get to see it performed live. 'Even Flow' was the best I've seen them play it - Mike's solo was out of this world. Then they throw in 'All Night' and 'Smile' too! 'The Fixer' is alot better live too.

All in all, they were on fire tonight and looked like they were enjoying it. Fucking brilliant gig - it'll take some beating to top it!

    WOW!!

Just got home and I'm exhausted but too buzzed for sleep, that was amazing, I didn't think they would top the 2000 gig at this venue but boy did they ever.

A fantastic setilst, it was great to hear a couple of the new tracks live and I am even more excited to get my hands on Backspacer now. I really hope there is a bootleg release for this show as I would love to experience it again.

Thank you Pearl Jam and please come back soon.

You can all see the songs they played and WOW that was incredible, a night of sheer sonic excitement, its only after seeing the comments on the relayer thread you can fully appreciate the magnitude of such a set, and it was beyond belief, thank you PJ for fulfilling all my dreams......
Black, the greatest without a doubt........

Wow...what a setlist. That second encore is unreal! I'll be picking up this boot for sure.
  • groovyfgroovyf Posts: 173
Already need to listen to this again! Roll on the Boots!

Cracking setlist... so many of my personal fave tracks in there... Long Road then straight into Last Exit was pure heaven. And a final triple bout of goosebumps when they ended on Indifference.

    Couldn't fault them tonight.

I've been to a lot of gigs but this was just unbelievable. Got in there early, watched Gomez (pretty good), and then bounced around when PJ came on until I was soaking (yeh! It was hot in there). Never heard such great stomping music and seen so many happy faces. A brilliant set list played with amazing enthusiasm. OK! When can we do this again?
  • pdalowskypdalowsky Doncaster,UK Posts: 15,099

well what can i say, this may have just topped shebu and i thought that was the best gig ever, i was able to cross long road, not for you, last exit, all night, in hiding, go, smile and indifferance to close off my must see list,

mikes solo for even flow was amazing and it was played behind his back, thats just showing off, it was also the best version ive heard off rearviewmirror from any boot or live concert ive seen, they had an epic jam at the end cant wait for the bootleg to this

Just got home, 2.30 in the morning. Just cooled down, it was hottter than hell in there tonight! Good sound tonight, loud and clear. My 13 year old daughters 1st show, she has been spoilt rotten. Long Road, Last exit, Why Go to open, unbelievable. Stone's solos in Not For You were superb, as was Jeff's in Smile. Felt like an intimate gig even though the venue was huge. Had 2 giant screens above the stage, Ed said it was the 1st time they had been used. Ed was in good form tonight. There was a girl at the front who was attending her 70th show, Ed said that in the old days if you got to 69 gigs you got to sleep with Mike and then hastened to add that Mike was now a happily married man. Sadly I can't make the O2, but for those attending, enjoy! Oh yeah, In Hiding was awesome :D

    Oh my god,

opening with Long Road, they did that in 1996 in Amsterdam too.
    That is very, very good...

    Very good set list again.

If you have been to Rotterdam, Berlin and now Manchester you had a super Pearl Jam week.
No London and then wait untill they put it for download on their own website.

Then you have 4 shows you can combine and make a live-CD with more then 60 songs 8-)
