I got in yesterday which was brilliant. I know this is like the Oscars but a few people I want to say thank you to for making a special night. I won't be on the forums today after probably risking the sack yesterday!

MonkeyWrench 101. We got together to try to find tickets but he was late so I got sorted and fortunately he did too. Had beer afterwards and a great laugh!
Pdalowsky. Met me at the venue and tried to secure tickets for me. Tried everyone he knew and really took time out to help me, really appreciated that.
Remfry. Apparently on the board but can’t find him. We queued up together and had a good laugh before being separated during the first song!
Godess. Who according to Pdalowsky was trying to secure me a ticket via her industry sources despite not having my number
Malcyrvs / BlueLedbetter / Neil Chaili. All for keeping me up to date with their spares.
Ames_downstroke. For sorting out the lottery which was a brilliant gesture even though I didn’t win!
A Scottish guy called Colin. He doesn’t come on the board though. I asked him for a spare, he recognised me in O’Neills afterwards and was chuffed I got in.

And last but not least the hero who let me have his spare ticket. I didn’t get his name but he had a dark shirt on and handed it to me after hearing a tout quote me £450! I was in the blue Billabong shirt if that was you, you made me a happy bunny!
Thank you all – quality night!
:D Rock on!!!! :D

Aaaah nice one that's great!! A couple of us were talking about you in the queue and wondering if you managed to get a ticket, can't believe you eventually sorted one out from a random stranger like that :D I never managed to find one for my missus, I had to get one before 2pm so she would have time to travel up so it was pretty impossible really. I had a few "my friend might be dropping out so I'll let you know"s that fell through in the morning, that was about it. Still I had an amazing night, and for that I want to thank irene and Ames :D

I was like a kid at Christmas when I got the ticket. Wasn't excatly face value (someone paid £200 and couldn't go but wanted it go to go to a real fan, I offered £100 and he took it) but worth it in the end. Sorry you couldn't get your mrs in, I am glad I went up as a single as if there were two of us, it would have been a nightmare.

  • Not sure if they're on the boards but I gave my spare to one of three people after a little "guess the ticket number" game and gave it to the nearest person. Not sure now if that was a bit cruel, but seemed the best thing at the time. Hope the other two of you got in...

I think that may have been me, Evolutionary and his other half. Nice chatting to you guys too ... and good having others to get unreasonably excited about any move the merch people made with!

Was great to meet loads of PJ fans. Most of my mates think they are 'metal' and haven't released anything since Ten which, in their views, was 'alright'. I really enjoyed chatting to everyone and there were a few who were absolutely obsessed with the band, you know who you are! The fans were brilliant, I met some future friends there hopefully, the crowd in the venue were mostly great. I am definately glad I went, paid the money and had sleepless nights. Was all completely worth it.

  • I want to thank...

Icemanap - for the mutual support and a good laugh after the gig over some beers. I just knew we'd get in somehow! Oh and thanks for this thread
Blueledbetter, Goddess, and everyone else who donated tickets at face value or tried to help source more tickets. Made me feel proud to be a 10C member
Ames D - a special thanks for organising lotteries and all the hard work you put in to source tickets. You were a source of hope during some very dark days. I hope you had a great time at the gig
The guy who sold me a ticket at a decent price - nuff said
The merch girl who allowed us to buy more than one poster

    Hall of shame:
HMV - one pre-order cancellation coming your way!

Not only was the gig amazing, but I feel so happy I didn't pay the extortionate tout prices. It has been so frustrating trying to tickets for this without paying stupid prices. I'm glad the stress is over and I can get on with my life!

lol amen to that!! I was thinking the exact same thing on the train home last night... the last few weeks have been gut-wrenching at times, missing out on every single "official" oppurtunity to buy tickets, then striking it lucky in the community-run lottery. Then I was on a hunt for a ticket for my fiancee, by the time I missed out on the magical 25 new pairs from the 10c I pretty much had had enough of the whole damn thing. I never did find her one, tried so hard right up until I had to leave yesterday afternoon :( Still, I'm so happy I got to go myself, and we both have 10c tickets to o2 next week so we can both look forward to that :)

Just my bit to spread the PJ love!!!!

    Fantastic night!!!!!!

I would like to thank the tubes actually. Without the tubes finishing early, I would not have gone back to the venue and would not have got Stone and Boom's signatures. So, thank you very much to the transport of london for making me miss my train home...:D

Looks like a lot of love is being shared. Sorta makes me want to cry.....!

Thanks too to the merch girl who I had a laugh with over the price of keyrings. I was in need of one and bought one for a tenner (stupid money for a tight northerner!) and when I said 'how much?!?' sarcastically to her, she said "can't agree with you more mate, i don't set the prices, if I did they would be a damn sight cheaper." That made me chuckle!!!!

What were the keychains like? I saw the 10 pound pricetag and decided not to even consider them.

You mean you didn't cancel it two weeks ago Joe?! When HMV shunted me out after taking my card details, I cancelled the order more or less straight away!

Cheers dude! There were so many blocks on the forum from my work computer yesterday, but always gave me the option to continue.......it warned me of 'potentially warm language' which I thought was amusing....

The key chains were a tenner. I needed one anyhow. I must have been just delerious just to get in. I even bought a complete stranger a pint. People who were not around me yesterday missed out!

I was in the 10c q and you guys were relaying what the merc looked like when I asked if all your badges were spoken for.
I'll tresure that forever, seeing as I was too blind to notice that the London Stickman T were specific to that date so didnt get one.

Did I give you a badge? I hope you did get one! You'll have to forgive me, my memory of yesterday is shocking-it's all a blur. Badges did run out, but there are 2 people that have lost theirs so I might order more (but i'm thinking of a donation this time as it cost me £20 out of my own pocket).

If you do order more I'd be glad to contribute - didn't see you dishing them out but was too excited at being in line for the show to pay much mind to anything!

Going back to the point of the thread - the "thank you's" - big respect to the guys on the barrier who kept us well refreshed with water. Also, to all those around who I was chatting to before the show, including Dave from London and Duncan from Stafford who I think may be on here, made the waiting much more bearable.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
