True that. I suggest you do as i'm doing tonight... sit on the Pit with a bottle of merlot and drown your sorrows, then go to bed and wake up tomorrow with a monster hangover, but safe in the knowledge that Manchester is closerBeen to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

Yeah, I got to say Sian, you do seem like a glutton for punishment. I don't know why you would want to do that to yourself? Why on earth would you want to drink Merlot???????A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

Sorry Dunk, I don't think I quite understand... were you at Astoria or something?
I'm the same as you, if Manchester and London weren't happening I would be A LOT more bothered than I am. As it goes, I'm quite looking forward to knowing some of my friends are having a blast while I get texts of the set and post it up for all to read

I'm not there tonight, but I'm not really that bothered. I'm just ecstatic that I'm going to be at the other shows, and that I'm in the buildings at all. What the fuck is this world?0

Me too. I'm still wearing my shorts though. This is the one time people are going to know the significance behind the little stickman on my right leg so I'm going to show it off dammit!!!A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

POST GIG - There's a party occuring at The Walkabout in Quay Street, Manchester. This will involve prize giveaways, Rockaoke, Pearl Jam videos and music. Entry is £2 after 11pm. It's easy to find, just walk straight down Deansgate away from the MEN and Moon Under Water and turn right at Quay Street (opposite Peter Street).
Not wanting to be a party pooper or anything - and youve done a shitload of work and huge effort for the above - but Quay street is a looong trek from the MEN... Not fussed myself as I know the place, and our hotel is off the back of Deansgate - but I know a few peeps are staying at the ancoats travelodge, and up that part of town... ALso - what time does Walkabout shut on a Monday night? I used to work in Sunlight House right opposite there, and not overly sure if it used to be open that late in the week...0 -

A few (friendly) things...
I was only told of this today and so updated the thread accordingly.
I don't know Manchester but i'm sure most of us can walk a wee bit... my hotel is past The Walkabout!
They have late entry and closing due to the PJ party.
But thank you for your adviceThe idea is that people take this info into account and make their own minds up
I will however be everywhere I've listed
