Forget the moon under water people , the meet up point and after party is at Walkabout on Quay st , Rock radio are running an all day event down there dedicated to Pearl Jam with cover band and rockeoke , if you want a quiet drink before the gig go to the moon ..... if you wanna party and celebrate the gig come to Walkabout!!!!!!!! Quay st .... not far from m.e.n and 1 big ass paty

we are meeting at the Moon pub on the SUNDAY...

the next day isnt set in stone and could indeed by the walkabout... depends on who wants to go to it.

but the SUNDAY teatime/night thing is at Moon Under The Water

i see the monday Sian has put herself in at the Moon... but she is meeting non-PJ friends.. perhaps the Walkabout on the Monday will be a better option for people wanting some music & stuff...

    :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Ah it's no problem, we can always meet at the Walkabout... I just figured the Moon would be a better place to meet afternoonish as it's quiet and closer to the MEN for ticket collections... maybe we can go from there or just meet at the Walkabout?
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

yes... thank you for your input...

The party will be wherever people want it to be. I think The Walkabout is a good idea but we didn't know about it until yesterday.

At the end of the day, everyone has phones and can contact each other. We can meet wherever's convenient or more popular on the day :)

  • So just to clarify, if you're queuing/collecting early, its the O2 bars? Me + 2 staying the night before as well, so we'll deffo be there for 12 and the box office opening.

Undecided about queuing.... it's our first PJ show ( ) so we want a good view

*deep breath* any concrete plans for after the show?

You can go where you like!

But yes, the idea is that if people wish to collect tickets early there should be people knocking around the O2 :) The Market Porter ideas is for those who aren't so bothered about collecting tickets early and wish to drink rather than queue for the day ;)

After show is pretty much 'if you're staying at the Docklands, we're drinking at the Docklands!';)
