Ditto. At least stadium shows are better than no shows. We've been waiting 11 years for them to come back, so I'll take a couple of stadium shows if that's all they're offering.

There are four or five acts that would inspire me to hit a Stadium.

    In this order:

    Reunited Led Zeppelin
    Reunited Pink Floyd
    Reunited The Kinks
Reunited McCartney, Ringo, Julian or Sean Lennon, and one of Harrison's Kin.
Pearl Jam..... although it would probably only happen if I was in Australia or some other exotic (to me) location.

Lastly I'm considering going to the U2 360 tour..... but only if I can find a ticket on Craigslist day of the show for like $45.00, which I think I will.

"You know, I'll admit that even I felt some impact myself listening to it back the first time, and not even really knowing where it came from," Vedder says of the song, which he debuted this summer during a solo tour. "A lot of the songs on this record were ones I just tried to get out of the way of, without self-editing."

I find this rather funny...well, not really...it's ok to admit we have troubles in life and relationships. We are all human. I don't think he needs to try to cover it over. It's obviously fine now, right??? so who cares? It made for beautiful music. Just my opinion which means nothing I know.

Yeah but he is giving that to the whole world, that isn't so easy I'm sure. Everyone might be inclined to self-edit in front of others.

That's what makes artists so great, not only that they share their inner being with the world, but they have the talent to do so.

Yes. I do believe it is.

The fact that the tour includes Australia, New Zealand, and the USA would already qualify it.

I would guess it will include quite a few more International destinations.

    Boston in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's just a matter of whether or not it's at TD Banknorth or GreatWoods (Comcast)
  • During the Cleveland radio interview, Stone implied that they would be doing more extensive touring of the US in 2010. My prediciton is they will break after this short world tour, for family reasons, release the EP late spring and follow up with Extensive US Tour hitting areas not touched during the little tease of a tour.

One of the interviews mentioned they put down 22 songs for the new Record and chose about half for the Backspacer album.

I think the interview hinted they might put out an EP, but someone else should confirm this.

    interesting...

and hey, i never doubted pearl jam would be touring in 2010. i mean, they just put out a new album, no way would they not imo. however, so many people seemed to believe ed's comments from january in regards to no touring in 2010 due to a band mate's baby.....so yea....LOT of good info in this article. also clearly lays out australia, new zealand AND hawaii....november and december. of course, there's already been rumors of hawaii, but always nice to see it mentioned more. :)

i hope NYC vicinity gets some lovin' late spring or summer..... 8-)
hell, a nice show on a cold day in january would be great too!

    true.
i'd imagine US first, simply b/c it is warmer here earlier, unless of course they hit up southern europe and move north. the boys do seem to like their warm weather. however, yea..i imagine SA, NA and europe all getting their turn, in whatever order....idk...

i would imagine that the SA tour itinerary would look very similar to the aussie/nz tour.
then they could hit up the south and the west in the spring......then split early summer/late summer between the east coast and europe.
