the thing that pisses me off .. the New York Times ...

they have the fucking list, just release it.

Don't dribble out the list a few names at a time ... triyng to cash in every few weeks when your sales are going south.

at least they were smart enough not to release names during Hall of Fame weekend ... there would have been major backlash if they did

don't forget, Ortiz was highly critical of ARod, amongst others, saying players should get a 1 year ban. and of course, he tried to preemptively soften the blow, by saying he can't be sure if he's ever taken them. I guess he hoped noone would notice he doubled in size in a year

it just sucks that ever 4-6 weeks, we got to run through the whole gammit again ... from Bonds, to McGwire, to Palmeiro, to Sosa, to A-rod ... and now to Manny and Ortiz ... and on and on ...

it's KILLING the season.

I think MLB should talk to the players, get their approval, and release the list.

this was a few months ago ... and many of us started dealing with it long before this ...

I think Simmons was a bit too dramatic on this issue ... he usually nails how I'm feeling as a fellow sox fan, but, not in this instance.

well, I'll speak for myself .... when he came out all high and mighty against A-rod, THAT'S when I was disappointed in him ... because, well ... I think we all had a feeling.

This report does not surprise me at all ... I'm sure there were other Sox using PEDs (I'm looking at you Trot Nixon)

Will I boo? No way in hell. I don't think the Sox fans boo either ... but, I don't think it's some sort of standing Ovation.

the thing that gets me ... how does Jim Rice react .... he does some tv work for NESN, and his comments over the eekend were very harsh towards people using PEDs ...

Should be intersting ... game starts in a few minutes ... not sure everyone in the crowd even knows. (and dammit, I ahve to watch the game on the Oakland feed, they black out the Sox feed).

Oakland announcers didn't even talk about it when he came to the plate ...

If that list is true, then Wells only got his big contract because he was using PEDs. His contract is going to cripple our team until 2014. He's going to be making 12m next year and 20 something the year after that.

a friend gave me the list about a year ago...I thought it was bs(cause of manny and Papi)...Manny being kinda built a different way, Papi(cause of his strong words to AROD).....now, with others....it appears real to me

list looks like a good list of suspects to me (but, certianly not confirmed) ... lot of guys who "fell off" suddenly like Speizio, Wells, Foulke, Colon, etc etc etc ....
