They should bring Act of Love out of retirement. Doesnt matter to me whether they open or close with it, just as long as they play it. The song kicks ass. It would probably be better as a closer though. Maybe Uncle Neil will be in Chicago and play it with them!
they need to bring back i've got a feeling as a closer

Don't know why they ever stopped playing it.
Other covers... Baba, and the Seeker maybe. Fuckin Up works ok, though it hasn't been much used in a long time.
I also think Alive and Breath can make good closers. A long jam to end the night is always cool. I prefer an upbeat ending though and they seem to like something that can linger and be drawn out before the goodbye.
I think it'd be cool to end with of their fiercer songs that just stop, then say thanks and good night. I'm thinking Do the Evolution, Why Go, Last Exit.
The closer definitely needs to be changed if for anything just to create a different concert experience. Maybe it'll be something from the new record? I'm sure there's something on there worthy of that.
I don't guess it would matter either way. Change or no change...I'll still be going to as many shows as life will allow.

I like your idea ... when the night ends with the last piano notes of Inside Job, hmmmm.

Nothing's wrong with a good tradition (which this is) in my opinion!
