  • Hi Guys,

I spoke to Adam @ Easy Street WS today and he thinks we can get about 300 people in the store for the Sat/19th 'Listening Party/Meetup/Midnight Backspacer Sale'... so I really don't think there will be any worry of getting shut out. As a back up plan (and also an 'after Easy Street' meetup)...

    http://www.westfive.com/

This is a great place just a few doors down from Easy Street. This will be the destination if you are shut out of ES/want to meet up after/rain puts out our fire on Alki beach and we need an alternate before ES!!

Very excited!! Can't wait to see all of you!!

    Safe Travels!

I'm too psyched. I almost can't sleep at night thinking about Seattle.

Months ago my parents agreed to look after our dogs while we go on our 2-week PJ adventure...and then yesterday, my dad decides that he's going to take a fuckin' holiday starting tomorrow and they won't be back until the 23rd!! Now we're scrambling to find somewhere to leave the dogs for the 20/21/22!! I'm so f'n mad at my dad! He just doesn't seem to get the point of why we're mad...oh, and they want us to look after the cats while they're gone. Well, we won't even be here to look after them!

Oh and for my birthday on Friday, they gave me a Pilot rollerball pen. I would have preferred nothing...

There must have been a carbon monoxide leak in their house....

Hardly likely that 10 Club will let me transfer my tix for Seattle because I can't find a dog sitter (can't bring them with because they have no rabies shots)...

And then Patrick Swayze died today...and hubby's mom is going for angioplasty tomorrow... I just want to have a big fat cry and then carry on as before...

  • Thanks you guys....we are so going to sort this out...

I hear my hubby on the phone with a lady who dog sits...I think we'll take them to her place...

It's tough, you know...I really don't want to PJ ahead of my dogs...but we've invested soooo much money in this whole thing....Lesson learned kiddies, when you grow up, your parents are quite unreliable... We'll be fine...

Well, this is gonna be my first time in seattle and LA. And first time I get to see PJ, although the three of us coming from guatemla, have been Pj fans long time ago. I have two buddies that tagged along, two cities, two pairs of shows!

  • I'm sitting here trying to get things done for the fundraisers... listening to Benaroya... and I'm so excited I can't keep track of my thoughts...

My mind keeps jumping back 20 years... ahead to next week... and everywhere in between...

I've been trying to think about how to convey how much the Young Survival Coalition has meant to me... over the past year... dealing with Breast Cancer...what I'll have to say as a member of the group at the pre-parties... All of you know how hard it is to express how much the band means to us... to those who aren't card carrying members of the 10C ;) ... imagine how it feels to try to find kindred spirits when riding the Cancer Roller Coaster... YSC to me... is like a PJ meetup X 1000 :) It's not only not being 'alone'... but instantly among friends... people who look in your eyes and can instantly connect to your soul...

I'm going to remember this whole thing for the rest of my life... this is all so much greater than so many could ever understand... both in pleasure and pain... it's a perfect example of 'living life'...

No it´s not about winning. I´m sure everyone inside key arena next monday and tuesday will feel very very happy, including PJ and crew.

Yeah, this is what it´s meant to be. While reading your post, I just had a flashback to 1998. While riding to school listening to a beat up cassette tape of ten and vs with a friend (sadly, though this friend will not come with me).

Remembering good times, bad times as well. School. Relationships. But mostly people. Good friends. Things we all have to deal with in our lives. And to think that a bunch of people connected with each other with at least one thing in common is unreal to me, especially because it is a music group we´re talking about here.

There are more important matters in life, like fighting for life itself. And inspirations can come to anyone from anywhere. But like you said, travelling to seattle (or any other place) for a gig, helping out with a fundraiser/party for other fellow fans, of just having pleasure on attending to the show, is all living the good life. We take nothing to the grave, so we should take as much as we can while we are here, and try to give much more.
