He said Pjammers have been calling from all over to try to reserve tickets to the 3rd show. He even offered to call me back as soon as the 225 dollar tickets go onsale so i can purchase them.

That is great news about the added show! The website was brutal today but was able to get in around 5:05 or so to get tickets. Anyone making the trip from providence/Boston area? And someone may want to check their sources on the last concert at the Spectrum...the web site has many things lined up and a Miley Sirus concert the following week. Who's going to that?

Now that everyone seems to be buying into this Philly 3 show (I, for one, am not surprised in the least), do we expect that there will be a another 10Club presale? If so, when do you expect that the tickets will go on sale? Friday? Monday?

The Philly public onsales are Friday, so if there is a 10c pre-sale for a Philly 3 show, I would imagine it will be announced tonight or early tomorrow with a sale tomorrow or Friday am.
I to spoke to the guy at The Spectrum.They are taking orders for these club boxes,$225.all you can eat and drink for 3 hours and a seat in either 205 or 210.
I reserved for 10/31,but it is possible the price will go up,since they sold most for 10/28 and 10/30 is gone.
He says the powers that be may decide to jack up the price since everyone is going nuts.90 tickets available.
There are 2 boxes,45 people per box.
He was pretty sure about the show,just hasnt been announced yet.
When it is offical he says he will call me back to let me know and then charge my credit card.
Helluva nice guy named Joe,said he talked to many,many PJ fans today.
I would suggest if you are interested in something like this,hop on it now,because the seats for a show that hasnt even been announced yet are just about gone.

I'm confident about extra shows, but no idea about where exactly. DJ at DC101 told me an hour ago that his program director said definitely one, maybe TWO, extra shows, but that was all he could tell me.

From my experience I would say the pre-sale will be instantly after the 3rd show is announced, like they did with Chicago. And if they are waiting to see how fast the General Public sale goes, it should happen Friday afternoon. Just my 2 cents...

the only bad thing about adding a show is that it usually seems to occur only once the existing shows sell out...usually adding with no notice. which makes the option of selling 10c tix before public onsale difficult to squeeze in.

The third PJ show is going to happen, but I think part of the reason they scheduled the hockey game early afternoon is in case the Phillies make the World Series, Game 3 would be that night in Philly.
Not really PJ related, but if the Phillies make the World Series, the parking lot will be nuts with a 4:15 Eagles Giants game scheduled on Sunday, November 1st.

I'm a little skeptical about this. My dad and I have a membership to the Cadillac Grill restaurant at the Wachovia Center (the larger building) for Flyers games. We always get offers from the Wachovia complex (Spectrum, Center) for concerts and other events before they go on sale to the general public. Usually its a dinner/ticket package where they mark up the price a little bit from face value. They usually sell them the week before the public on sale in limited numbers. On 7/14 at about 5pm, they sent out an email to members offering tickets for 10/28 and 10/30 for $88 each without a meal. I'm pretty skeptical that there's this other "box" seat and dinner package floating around, particularly since luxury boxes and box seats are pretty nonexistent at the Spectrum.

You can rent suites (the ones that aren't rented year round) through them and they also sell club box packages that include food and drinks for most events. There are 2 club boxes at the Spectrum that they split up and sell as packages, each holds 45 people.
And to the person that said that the sound sucks at "Wachovia", are you refering to the Spectrum or Wachovia Center? If the Wachovia Center you are correct, if not you don't know what you are talking about. The sound is great at the Spectrum.

Flyers play across the street in the Wachovia Center. They used to play in the Spectrum till the mid 90's.
