The HMV pre-order of 'Backspacer' will be a different version than the Ten Club release. Questions regarding HMV pre-orders and tickets should be directed to www.hmv.com.

For a 3000 person venue, I would think it's not going to be that difficult.... though who knows how many 10c members are out there....

    anyway, good luck all...

does this mean possibly HMV/O2 have the upstairs tickets? I wonder..
yeah I'm a bit worried about that.. I've never actuality been upstairs (at Brixton neither) but there's no fucking way I'm seating at a PJ concert, over my dead body! (and before you say but nobody will actually seat, I can bet you the price of the ticket there''ll be lots of people that do, as always in London, and they'll be behind me and complain..and if security are stupid they'll try to seat me down and then throw me out for not doing it! )

all the tickets are not for 10c..at MOST probably 300 (there was only like 20 pairs for 10c at the Astoria!) and there's way more than 150 members in the UK! It'll be hell believe us!
Maybe not quite as hell as the Vic but then touts didn't have access to Vic tickets.
    already planning a fight? ;)
if they try to seat me down, hell yeah, I can't physically do it anyway! should have seen me shoot out of my seat at the first cord of Porch in LA last year!

I thought we find out monday night if we get the 10C tickets so you mightened have to try for the hmv presale on the tues?
    Is that correct?

You can apply for the lottery on Monday evening through till Tuesday at 8pm. The HMV presale starts Tuesday at 9am. So, there's two presales happening at once, really. Basically, by Tuesday night we should know if we've succeeded in getting tickets or not.

Well, at least we get a few shots at tickets :)

Anyway, on the random assumption that I'll end with a ticket at some point, who want's to put me up for a night or two? On my own this time - Jody has no holiday left and new exam revision to start
On the plus side for you guys, that equals a potential spare ;)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

The SBE is a 2000 capacity venue... only marginally more than the Astoria was. It's going to be tough to get tickets, but at least we have a few chances.

I saw Chris Cornell at SBE this year and had seating tickets, and I can confirm that security are very strict about making you stay seated!Shame really, but understandable. Standing tickets are definitely the way forward at the SBE.

Although it would be great if they did :D I don't think 10c will have all the floor tickets (unless they've managed to get more than their normal % of tickets) so HMV and O2 are likely to have floor tickets as well.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

This will be the last ever set... iirc it's about 15 or so, but it's equal to a masters degree apparently.

    *swerves back on topic*

    I'm too exciiiited!
Confirmed provisional holiday booked from work :) I can take the Monday, Tues and Wednesday - reckon there's gonna be pre/post drinks?

i find this particularly impressive, and also that tenclub are clearly noting the demand on this and the issues with Philly and LA and have acted on the lottery as the fairest way. Credit to them , because on this occasion its definitely due. Of course I may not get lucky, but still they cant please us all

I am unable to try myself for the hmv presale so I hope 10C sort me out.
I suppose it all depends how many tickets 10C have. Man, this is nerve wrecking.

  • Thank god 10C is doing something for Shepherd's Bush. Can't get any fairer than a lottery. I will be entering and then crossing everything possible until I get that you have been successful email.... If I don't get tickets... Then to HMV it is... but hey I am definitely seeing them twice already and although I will be ultra gutted about missing this.... I will get over it eventually. Good luck to all.!
