The HMV pre-order of 'Backspacer' will be a different version than the Ten Club release. Questions regarding HMV pre-orders and tickets should be directed to www.hmv.com.
- Ten Club tickets are for general admission, standing room only.
does this mean possibly HMV/O2 have the upstairs tickets? I wonder..
yeah I'm a bit worried about that.. I've never actuality been upstairs (at Brixton neither) but there's no fucking way I'm seating at a PJ concert, over my dead body! (and before you say but nobody will actually seat, I can bet you the price of the ticket there''ll be lots of people that do, as always in London, and they'll be behind me and complain..and if security are stupid they'll try to seat me down and then throw me out for not doing it! )

For a 3000 person venue, I would think it's not going to be that difficult.... though who knows how many 10c members are out there....
anyway, good luck all...
all the tickets are not for 10c..at MOST probably 300 (there was only like 20 pairs for 10c at the Astoria!) and there's way more than 150 members in the UK! It'll be hell believe us!
Maybe not quite as hell as the Vic but then touts didn't have access to Vic tickets.
if they try to seat me down, hell yeah, I can't physically do it anyway! should have seen me shoot out of my seat at the first cord of Porch in LA last year!

I thought we find out monday night if we get the 10C tickets so you mightened have to try for the hmv presale on the tues?
Is that correct?
You can apply for the lottery on Monday evening through till Tuesday at 8pm. The HMV presale starts Tuesday at 9am. So, there's two presales happening at once, really. Basically, by Tuesday night we should know if we've succeeded in getting tickets or not.
The Ten Club ticket pre-sale will start at 5pm UK local time (9am Pacific) on July 20th and end promptly at 8pm UK local time (12pm Pacific) on July 21st...Confirmations will be sent shortly after the pre-sale has ended.
2. If you have pre-ordered the album before the closing date, you will be sent an email with your unique email link on Monday 20th July 2009 from 17:00 GMT. This will give you the opportunity to participate in the pre-sale process. HMV will send this email to the address registered on the customer’s hmv.com account and will not be responsible for any failure by a customer to receive that email.
3. The ticket pre-sale starts on Tuesday 21st July 2009 at 09:00 GMT on the hmvtickets website, only accessible via your unique email link
Anyway, on the random assumption that I'll end with a ticket at some point, who want's to put me up for a night or two? On my own this time - Jody has no holiday left and new exam revision to start
On the plus side for you guys, that equals a potential spare
...London Doesn't Call Anymore... (rip joe)
Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

Off topic, but... Jeez, how many exams does the poor girl need to do?!

The SBE is a 2000 capacity venue... only marginally more than the Astoria was. It's going to be tough to get tickets, but at least we have a few chances.

I saw Chris Cornell at SBE this year and had seating tickets, and I can confirm that security are very strict about making you stay seated!Shame really, but understandable. Standing tickets are definitely the way forward at the SBE.

Although it would be great if they did I don't think 10c will have all the floor tickets (unless they've managed to get more than their normal % of tickets) so HMV and O2 are likely to have floor tickets as well.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

This will be the last ever set... iirc it's about 15 or so, but it's equal to a masters degree apparently.

I'm too exciiiited!
Confirmed provisional holiday booked from work I can take the Monday, Tues and Wednesday - reckon there's gonna be pre/post drinks?
...London Doesn't Call Anymore... (rip joe)
Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.
I'm all on for post drinks, as I have nowhere to sleep that night The next day will be rough, have to fly back to Dublin to catch my flight to Berlin! And I'm relying on Ryanair to be on time... dundunduuuuun!
Nice how had to be active by yesterday so people (touts) can't join for this ticket sale
i find this particularly impressive, and also that tenclub are clearly noting the demand on this and the issues with Philly and LA and have acted on the lottery as the fairest way. Credit to them , because on this occasion its definitely due. Of course I may not get lucky, but still they cant please us all

i might be up for post drinks if i cant get the last train wonder anywhere near the venue will be open late
i'm excite and yet confused...what a chance after i missed out on the Astoria..but i've bought so many tickets for gigs and sport events (not to mention its a 400 mile round trip to SBE for me)
how greedy am i, really?..i get to see em 6 days later in Manchester but i'm desperate to see em in a once in a lifetime environment...
i'm torn
best get the wife to decide...as usual haha

Thanks Jenny,
I didn't read the closing time on the 10C presale. I was pretty tired when I read it last nite.
Really hope the majority of us get sorted and thank fuck the Irish are included!!!!
Jenny, I want your spare ticket
I'll show you mine if you show me yours
I thought I showed you in NY last year? Naughty!
I am unable to try myself for the hmv presale so I hope 10C sort me out.
I suppose it all depends how many tickets 10C have. Man, this is nerve wrecking.
