I like scruffy bearded Stoney better. ;)

Hope the last song on the track list isn't a harbinger of things to come.

Who's taking bets that this album will likely "get out" on the internet by mid-August?

I sincerely hope we get some b-sides this time around...

Wow - so that must mean 36 minutes is right.

I hope Target sells this in a price range fitting for 2/3 of a typical album! :D

I know someone who know works for the company manufacturing the cd and they told me that that photo is going to be the album cover, for reals.

Now that I just can't believe... they've never done anything close to a band photo for a cover for just about anything.

haha, of course I was kidding. pearl jam would never do something like that. or maybe, it is so un-pearl jam, that they will do it!

They used a bunch of stunt-doubles for the cover of Ten

Ok, good point. But that was a long time ago, first album, no drama, etc. Pearl Jam post 1992 would not put themselves on the album cover.

Is the new album going to be released on September 20th or 22nd? For the last few weeks I've been hearing the 22nd, which is obviously the traditional Tuesday release date. Now, I'm reading September 20th (a Sunday release date).
    United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09
    Gibson Amphitheatre (Los Angeles): 10/7/09

haha.. the way his hair blends into the trees behind them, eddie looks bald.... is this picture from the future??
  • Wow, they really are naming songs "Supersonic" and "Speed of Sound". Ouch. So cliche.

Absolutely, positively Sept 20. I posted a Billboard article which stated the 22nd. Kat got into my thread, saw that and made Billboard correct their article, and she changed my post to make the date the 20th. Do a search on my name, or on "Article Billboard" you'll see what happened.

Speed of Sound 'sounded' pretty cool live - I'm hoping the full band adds even more to it.
