It wasn't up long. I got an alert on facebook and it was gone when I logged in. Like sharks to blood in the water

Who alerted you?

It popped up in my facebook feed from a friend

Ok. I was thinking it was TMR.

Nope, as far as I know there isn't an alert system set up for third man. Just blind luck timing drops like today

There was a box next to the sold out Dead Weather album that asked to click if you'd like to be alerted when it's available. I clicked on it so now I wait.

Yeah me too, in retrospect, I would have bought it. I didn't know only 300 were made, probably why it sold out so fast, they probably only had a handful available.

Hey, i was wondering where you saw there were only 300 made, thanks .

    Discogs my friend.

I have just always heard that only 300 were pressed, but it is odd that its not listed on their catalog.

Not a clue, maybe they're incorrect?

Got a call from my apartment complex that i have a package waiting for me in the office... The only thing I can think of that I'm having delivered is the Vault 22 package. Usually they just leave a box by the door unless it required a signature. But I haven't received an email yet with a tracking number... and read on facebook that the "L"s got emails today. hmmmmmmm

Whoohoo! Mine came today! (My name starts with A and I'm international. I think they did the international ones first this time, Z - A by first name, and then the US ones. So the domestic ones should be shipping right about now if not already?).
It really is pretty awesome. Can't wait to get it home and really go through it properly. I just took a quick peek at the office. Does anyone know how many gigs that USB stick has btw? And maybe I missed it, but is there anything on it? Is that the digital album?

My only minor complaint about Vault 22 is that almost one whole side of disc 2 is Jack talking, and it's boring. It's not good banter like EV does. It's just him rambling on about basically nothing and it just comes off kind of awkward, and it's not interesting at all IMHO. Jack, if you don't have anything interesting or fun to say, don't say anything at all. So I could definitely could do without all that. But otherwise, the album is incredible!!

Did you attend Roo? I havent received my package yet but I assume you are talking about the "something better to do" part and the "thanking a guy stamping car doors" speech?

I was there and this banter to me felt like an EV type of thing. The whole concert was just awesome and these insights/stories were part of what made the concert special; what connected the audience to Jack and the audience together. It probably doesn't translate well to a vinyl record, but for someone that was there, you want to hear everything and remember the whole experience. I can't wait to get mine. I'm really hoping for before Christmas, but I haven't received a shipping notification yet, so I think that won't happen..

I'm sure it was different if you were there and part of the live show. I totally understand the "you had to be there" thing, and I can tell listening to the whole album that the crowd was awesome and it was an amazing show. I just saw him live in the Summer, and it was fantastic. But you're right, Jack's banter here doesn't carry over to the live album well. Not for me, anyway. I found it boring and disruptive to an album I otherwise enjoy A LOT!! Might be better on the DVD, when you can see it all. I haven't watched that yet.

Got a shipping this morning that it left Memphis at 3:30am. Hopefully it can get through the sorting facility and on a truck for Tuesday delivery.

I just spent 2 hours making one of the Google Cardboard VR glasses to use with the Jack White Virtual Reality App. Very cool! I actually felt like I was standing onstage. Wish there was more than 3 songs. If you have the time to make the glasses, it's awesome!
