Im going for night 2. Pretty excited.  I always wanted to see the white stripes at the temple but I guess I will settle for just Jack  ;)
Nice, I’m excited as well, should  be a fun weekend of Tigers baseball and music. I’ll be wearing a royal blue Tigers hat and a nice grey Patagonia button down, say Hi! And I’ll buy your beers.😊 Have fun!
Will do my best to figure out what a Patagonia button down is so I can say hi. Where is the best/safest place to park for this venue?

I would just hit up any parking garage, you’ll see one. Everything is pretty walkable right downtown IMO. I’m staying at a hotel near Jefferson, across from Cobo Hall and feel plenty safe walking from the show back to hotel.
Looks like they have some parking on the corner of Cass Ave. and Temple Street.

Sorry, but I was just thinking back to the Eddie show in 2011. Walking back to the MGM down Elizabeth Street, almost every car parked on the road had their windows busted out, felt really sad about that. I didn’t want to come off as flippant about personal safety and safe parking so choose wisely. Thanks.

All good my friends,  no flippancy detected.  I saw that lot on Google maps and that's where I will likely end up.  Nice and close to the venue

It's good for fans of Sleep.  I was never really into them.  I'm hearing he might do a Vault with some later work from Prince.

Anybody interested in a GA floor ticket for Jack White's Sunday 4/10 Grand Rapids show at Van Andel Arena? I bought it thinking I'd be in Michigan for a work trip that week but looks like I'm not going after all. Got it during the $33 ticket promotion they ran recently, so it was $46.80 total after fees. If anybody's interested in it for cost, please message me. Thanks!
Jack's tour is starting up at the end of this week! Anybody in Michigan interested in a GA floor ticket for Sunday's show in Grand Rapids? I'd take $40 for it. Please let me know if you might know anyone interested. Thanks!

Does anyone have a vault pre-sale code for the new dates? Trying to get tickets to Des Moines.

This album is not too bad…..jack being jack for sure but a bit more cohesive than BHR.

I agree ^^ I listedned this morning and it wasn't bad overall. Not as good as his first 2, but better than the last. Some of it blended together too much. I know he will release the 2nd album next which is softer/more acoustic(?). I imagine that after hearing that I'll have wished he did one album putting them together with just the strongest tracks off each and sequenced in a normal fashion.

I’m not sure he will ever top those first 2 solo projects.

for some reason I've always thought that Jack would team up with Eminem for a song at some point. then blow the roof off the grammy's with a live duet performance of it. Hi De Ho shows me he'd be into it.

part of me feels like this is a record of remixes, but we never got the originals.

2 times through it now and I’m very surprised. It’s a great mix between the feel of album 2 and 3…I though jack took his eccentric side a bit too far on BHR. This dials it back just enough to work for me. Very excited for the show next week now.

Daru Jones was great on the Lazarettomtour. Super into it, Almost  jumping out of his stool a bunch of times.

He is a BEAST. His drum set up is so weird haha. He’s incredible to watch. Happy he’s back.

I have a feeling I’ll enjoy these songs a lot more in a live setting.
