    i don't see them coming to Boston till next year....i think with the Aus/NZ dates announced(there goes all of Nov.)and the interview that talks about them deciding on amphitheaters or stadiums for 2010 tour dates pretty much confirms that they won't be in the North East till 2010...excluding Philly of course.

    I agree... EXTRA PHILLY shows... Possible BOSTON / NYC dates, who the fuck knows... trying to plan these things in advance has become impossible...

    Please...please...come to Boston in '09. It would be ridiculous if you wouldn't.

    For the folks still living near the Hub ...

    How many concerts a year are they having at Fenway these days?

    I was watching the Sox game last night and they had an ad for Paul McCartney tickets for a show at Fenway ... are they doing more than one act a summer now?

    Was it Springsteen that played their first, and the neighborhood went apeshit with noise complaints? That was pretty close to my last year in Boston.

    Gives hope to a 2010 show for PJ.

    IM NOT SURE if SPringsteen was first... I know the POLICE had a couple ... Springsteen... Dave Matthews has done 2 sets of 2 shows... this is the first time for PHISH and Mccartney....


    They are doing a NHL game Bruins and either rangers or flyers i think on New years Day at Fenway this year.

    YES PEARL JAM at Fenway would be perfect... everyone always thinks its gonna happen to especially considerin that THEO and ED are friends... someday...

    Fenway sucks for shows you cant see anything.... I saw the Police it was terrible, thes ound has nothing to bounce off of... Fenway wasn't made for shows I wish they'd stick to Arenas... my $.02

    That is how i feel about Stadium shows in general... but I did see 1 Dave matthew show there in 2006 and i thought it was alright and the overall atmosphere was great... but ya PEARL JAM Should always be an ARENA show in my opinion...

    I was encouraged when whatever that quote was the other day that came out about them plannin arena and or Ampitheatre shows next year but they prefer ARENA'S
