    ya i cant argue with that,.. but it would be 2 extra days there for that 1 show... and the first of 3 you would imagine would be the weakest one, so i may take my chance but when the time comes it will be hard to actually follow through with that plan

    I haven't seen SOLAT8 on here lately, but then again, Oscar's not a TRUE Mass native (& now he lives in Japan). I'll be in DC the weekend heading into the shows, driving into Philly & meeting up with hubby on the 27th (my birthday). We're staying at Holiday Inn & might be walking over to the venue, so maybe we'll hafta crash ur tailgate party! :mrgreen:

    Was just thinkin for no good reason... about what the best PEARL JAM massachusetts shows are...

    Obiously #1 hands down is 7-11-03 i dont think there can be any debate about that...

    but after that i think its a cool thing to think about...

    LEASH 06 show has to be up there... 5-25-06

    Road crew setlist show from 94 has to be up there....

    2nd Mansfield from 08 rocked... i dont know, seems like a cool set of shows they have playd here in the BAY STATE

I was at 4-11-94 show (nite before the Orpheum "crew set list" show) when they played Immortality for the first time, Ed smashed through the stage and exited under the stage, and they played Leash for the last time till the 06 show you mention. I actually bought my brother tickets so he could go to that Orpheum show with a friend. He still owes me big time.

    Yes a awesome show no doubt, listen to it often... but i mean MANSFIELD 3 ha the acoustic set, all the diff songs.. their longeste show ever... B oth shows play a major role in the history of Pearl Jam Live...

    They have had some amazing Boston shows so many relevant things...

    94- road crew setlist.. boston garden, orpheum... ed smashes stage

    98- 2 great shows... 2nd night waas really awesome show...

    2000- they play patriot... fuckin up bizarre first night set... 2nd night rips it old school style...

    2003- 3 mansfield shows, needs no explanation... i think the final total was 95 diff song s with Yellowed led the only repeat... acoustic set also

    2004- VFC shows... not a huge huge fan of these shows but they bust out I GOT A FEELING and ALONE which was cool....

    2006- Ed says best crowd other than SOuth AMerica 1st night... both shows almost 3 hrs ... wicked crowd and intensity... 2nd night THEO EPSTEIN jams with them... they break out PARACHUTES for first time live... SMILE that night and obviously... LEASH

    2008- I hate that mansfield curfew 1st show is good but short... amazing BETTERMAN2nd show rocked... trilogy and just a great show in general
    GO BOSTON!!! too bad it looks like we are gonna get shafted this year- so happy band loves boston and so PROUD OF US>.. we always bring it as far as the singin and loud... they are impressed with the boston crowds in most cases...
