Are you reffering to the two kids, where one didn't want to file an official complaint? The mother that was obvious money hungry and made some (to say the least) odd statements and couldn't convince a jury, the employees that were fired by their employer and wanted money and a father who wrote "The Prince in Tight Pants" (or whatever that movie was called) and was looking for money to finance his next project, than "yes" I refer to them.

Nothing is simple in this case. Even the child protection couldn't make a case. And they went through his personal life with a comb.

Last but not least: lying regarding a nose job (or in his case many jobs) doesn't make you a pedophile. But then again what do I know... Like I stated above, I do think he was mentally ill, but that doesn't make you a sexual predator.

Damn, now I'm tricked in responding again.

Im gonna keep posting this until someone responds to it. Its the fourth or fifth time I have posted this, and no one has said a damn thing.

The mther of the accused is a documented liar. She lied under oath, before in a case. She said she was sexually assaulted by a security guard at target and was demanding money for that as well. So yes, it is more than reasonable to suggest that in this case as well, she was merely lying and that she made her kid lie about this as well.

She suggested that she feared for her and her kids life because mj and his crew were going to kidnap her and her son via a hot air balloon. Really sane and valid stuff like that!

So yes, the kid and the mom were lying. And Mj was telling the truth.

One of the major reasons why MJ was found innocent was in large part because the jury thought the mother was insane and off her rocker. I remember reading of jurors laughing at the above mentioned stories, of hot air balloon kidnapping threats, and rolling their eyes and stuff like that.

Bottom line is: the mother had a documented history of lying about sexual assault for monetary gain.

Musicismylife (nice nick btw) I read it the first time and completly agree with you. (And hey, I responded!) I didn't know about the air balloon, but with the other stuff I read re her, it doesn't surprise me. Like I stated: there are interesting things documented in this case. If people take their time that is... (But people rather pass judgement than read.)

I am SO sick of people saying, "oh well, when there is smoke there is fire". No one ever says that about other people. People said it about OJ but no one ever said it about the LAPD who lets face it has had MAJOR smoke clouds coming from its buildings for decades.


And same with MJ. No one said "where there is smoke there is fire" in reguards to the 1993 boys family, or the 2005 boys family. Both families were acting odd and strange to say the least. And indeed you could say "where there is smoke there is fire" about the 2005 accusers mom. But no one ever says that.

If you want to say MJ was strange and odd and wierd fine. But dont ignore the facts when doing that. The whole story needs to be told, not just the tabloid accusations and the speculation.

I find this whole conversation really interesting on two points...

1) All of the misinformation that is being thrown and debunked proves MJ's lifetime struggles - we try our celebrities in the media.

2) This conversation happening on a forum dedicated to band that has spent most of it's career fighting against the soul sucking fame plagued MJ's life.

We've come to accept Ed's (and the rest of the band's) push back on videos, interviews, autographs, and access. Who set the example for the worst kind of life lived in the public eye? Let's have some respect and stop being hypocritical.

Completly agree. And it's also sad. We (the public) put this guy underneath a microscope, criticize every step he took, scrutinized him, put him in a glass prison and slowly saw him fall to pieces. And when he dies some people even have the audacity to applaud. It's sickening and very short sighted.

I thinking you're taking it too generally. The post summed up the category that he called 10C's "fucking idiot members". There's also another category (I hope) that is 10C's "normal members", etc. It's up to you to decide which category you fit into, I don't think he was attacking all of us (including himself) personally.

yeah thats cool, I was referring to a small group of people who post around here with moronic retarded comments, and think its funny to do so, or the annoying folk who come here to moan and moan and fucking well moan some more about everything pearl jam. Those I think fall into the fucking idiot category but in no way was I intending to slight the whole fanclub. Hell no. there are some great people on here, and I have formed good friendships with many. But we do have that minority here and those are in that 'category'.

My comment was born out of that ignorant comment that i quoted. Which quite frankly was appalling.

This place is great though and I would never set out to slag off the majority so generally.....Bazzer was spot on with his interpretation

Actually he did that MJ leg-swivel thing during "Hard Sun" and immediately grabbed his back and said something to the effect of "too old for this sh*t".
